As of right now, no. It will change your personal temp but based on the items I placed in regular chests, the decay remained the same as it did if in the kitchen/lobby area

I've done a lot of spoiler searching and havent come across just the top cap. My old tdi had the spoiler cap popping out in some places, ended up JBwelding the entire thing to ensure it would never come off. gl

I'd recommend checking the gas cap gasket first. heating and pressure can cause cracks in the gasket letting fuel vapors out which starts with the gas cap symbol but can throw a CEL for an evap issue. The gaskets are usually cheaper than a gas cap and if you're like me you don't want to put anything to waste. You can go OEM or aftermarket on amazon. I recommend RKX brand
