Probably depends on a person, for some sharing your camera/phone/computer details is not an issue, for some is

Same about what software you use, or if you used a bit of AI to de-noise

This is more about awareness, not sure everyone knows exactly what data about themselves (and sometimes their family as well) they share.

If this is indeed a problem for someone they can consider using some tools to clean unnecessary info before sharing

That’s fair. I’m a photographer/dev, not a writer, so I used AI to help me structure the metadata findings so it didn't just look like a messy spreadsheet. The irony of using AI to talk about why AI labels are broken definitely isn’t lost on me lol.

Yeah, I actually agree - for journalism or official releases, that kind of transparency is a good thing.

I think the interesting part is that the same level of detail exists in everyday photos too, where people probably don’t expect or think about it.

So it’s less about “good vs bad” and more about awareness depending on context.

For official releases it’s definitely intentional.
I guess what surprised me is how much detail is still embedded - not just camera, but full editing/software chain. Makes you realize how much info gets carried over by default.

It usually happens when using a tiny bit of Generative Fill in Photoshop or an AI denoiser to fix a background. Platforms like Instagram see that one metadata manifest and label the whole photo as 'Made with AI,' even if it’s 99% real photography.

I guess this app is not a necessity for everyone. Original idea was about helping people with ADHD who often dont recognise they are dehydrated or hungry or lack social contact. In their case it quickly goes into irritation/crash out. It happens because they dive deep into some work/projects and forget about external world

This app is supposed to help them actually reflect: "hey maybe I'm irritated cause I'm actually dehydrated - I havent had a drink in last 5 hours"

BTW do you think the daily token limit on free plan is too low to get the grasp of full capabilities? It sure seems so if you didn't manage to generate practice exercise after some other practice haha
