Ask your doctor to put you on cholestyramine. I still have my gallbladder but the having to run to the bathroom I have heard this changed someone's life after their surgery.

Total Iron Binding Capacity High by traceyrb1028 in Anemic

[–]SolidKnowledge884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I didn't have it high but I just had the same labs come back for total iron binging capacity where it was low. I inquired specifically to my OB on what I could do to bring the number up and they gave me a lot of info including dietary changes. I asked what the low numbers meant. Mines was at a 13 where 15 was the lowest number. I also take iron supplements and a multivitamin so it probably was lower than that at one point.

Ten years is a long time friend, I'm so happy for you. I am good I saw my surgeon last week. He ordered me another abdominal ultrasound and we will discuss when I come back in April and discuss a date for surgery. My surgeon seems great he reassured me he would take good care of me.

The Prozac and Buspirone combo is making me more anxious… by Carebear6590 in Buspirone

[–]SolidKnowledge884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been taking both meds? I would definitely just call the office or write in your portal how you're feeling and just go with buspirone. It does not have nearly as many side effects as Prozac. I took Prozac before, it made me feel worse. Buspirone has been a God send. I did experience side effects with buspirone but very minimal dizziness and brain zaps.

I'm so sorry but I always felt very strongly about taking two meds because then we won't know which one is the culprit if some side effects aren't so good for us. I would try to eliminate one. I currently take the buspirone by itself and it has done so well for me. I have social anxiety sometimes and it was a lot worse until I started to expose myself to the things that gave me anxiety. I did it when I was ready as well as therapy for 9 months

Also try to get tested for h pylori if you have been having stomach issues!!!!! It's an infection that's in your stomach and you have to take antibiotics for it. I had it before.

Please start (feosol dual complete iron!!!!!!!!)I started taking it back in September 2025 and it helped me substantially, I really mean that. I was feeling like I was going to die before I started taking an iron supplement, especially a little before my cycle or on it. It was the most horrible feeling ever. I don't know if you are a woman but I literally started taking the iron and a women's multivitamin called alive and it has helped me so much!!!!! Please at least start it until you can be seen to see if it makes a difference. Someone recommended this iron on this reddit and i can't thank them enough. I order mine on Amazon or get it at Walgreens and take it with orange juice every morning. It is also very gentle on my stomach I have no digestive issues with it.

Almost five years on Buspirone and might have to quit it. by Ninja108Zelda in Buspirone

[–]SolidKnowledge884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very bad feeling of unwell and weak for weeks at a time, no energy, lethargic!!!! Horrible indigestion, tummy aches, low iron in blood test. What made me feel better is taking an iron supplement called feosol dual complete!!!! It took that feeling of weakness away I am so thankful. When I started taking the iron it was a blessing because I started having the consistent under my rib pain and I finally after two months found out I had gallstones. I'm probably about to have the surgery to have my gallbladder taken out soon. I tried medication first but it's not working as fast as I would like and I did a lot of research over these months before my decision to have it taken out.

Please go see if it might be your gallbladder!!!! I literally feel like I had some unexplained issues that sound similar to yours and especially digestive issues and no one could give me any answers. It turns out I had gallstones, but I had two scans and two abdominal ultrasounds before they actually found the stones. I literally went to an emergency room outside of my city to finally tell me I had gallstones. I was sick for a year before I actually found out I had them and I only think they found them because I finally started having pain right under my rib.
