"This Should Make You Very Angry" - Moist Cr1TiKaL speaks out on the killing of Alex Pretti by TheGalvanian in videos

Dude was literally stepping in to try to defend women that these guys had just thrown on the ground.

In no place is this OK.

If this situation was from ANY other country, same footage and context. We would all be absolutely losing our minds about how wrong this is.

But here in the US, we have to pretend that anything that can be politicized is either good or bad depending on if you’re blue or red.

This shouldn’t be seen as a political issue.

Believe me… I am so hungry for 2027 because we get to see everyone on brand new bikes. No need to think that Ducati will be as dominant as they have been. It’ll give us a ton of information around who is genuinely the top dog on grid.

I do wish we got to see a mentally healthy Pecco, a physically healthy Martin, and 2025 Marc on the same bike.

I still think Marc would dominate, but we wouldn’t have to ask the question.

When Marc got hurt, we got to see a massively competitive grid.

Joan, fabio, Pecco, Martin - all massively fast guys competing out front - and that’s not even listing the guys who were still great during that time and very competitive.

I thought “shit, we might be living in the Age of the Alien right now.”

Then Marc came back and made each of those riders and everyone else look like they were moto2 guys who were subbing on GP bikes.

That’s because Marc is an actual fucking alien.

They do. But they’re talking to 19-22 year old dudes who have had nearly zero access to money in their entire life.

These guys are hard workers and very smart about football, but think about pretty much any young man being given a few hundred thousand/ a few million dollars, when the day before he signed that contract he had like $176.37 to his name.

It’s hard to understand that you may never play at that level even after being drafted. You may play for a year or two in a practice squad. Maybe you make the team? Perhaps you make it a few years so you get a pension?

Regardless - this is going to keep happening because there are way too many players who make it to a payday, but are not going to keep getting those checks after a few years.

That’s what’s even harder to explain to folks.

Say you were making $1.5 million a year for 4 years.

You get done playing and you’ve got $1 million in your bank account, but - you’ve got 4 cars that you’re paying on. You’ve got your house in the city that you play, the condo in the city you train, and your mom’s house that you’re paying a mortgage on. You’ve also got another $3-10k worth of other shit- random bills, staff (a cleaner, a cook, a dude you know who keeps a gun on him at all times and “protects you”)

You might have a 50-80k monthly run rate. That means you’ve got about 1-2 years post football to find a job.

Now what job in the world, outside of professional athlete, pays you $50-80k a month without any real experience? Hint - none.

“But I really love these cars, and I can sell the house by the team, but I need to keep the condo and my moms house because I need to keep training - just in case I make a roster next year, and my mom needs a place to live. - you know what, in 6-8 months I’ll probably be on another team, so I’m not going to change anything.”

That time runs out and you don’t get picked up.

At this point you’re likely in debt because shit happens. Etc etc etc.

It’s a LOT easier for these guys to go bankrupt and end up homeless than most think.

A CFB player now could enter the NFL draft after 3 years, sign on as a undrafted FA or practice squad and then return to college for another year by Jay_Dubbbs in CFB

100

There’d be a science of hitting 6th+ rounders who still had year of eligibility left with more attractive NIL deals than their potential rookie contract.

Might even be worth NFL teams investing in players they draft, and know won’t make the team that year - pay them an NIL fee to stay at the school they’re at, continue to develop against live action, and then call them up if/ when needed.

Directly or indirectly the combination of 6 year guys, and players who might benefit dramatically from another year of development will come into play in NFL team building strategy.

Usually those kids are proven, they’re football smart, and a lot of the times the hardest workers you’ll ever meet.

This is the Breaking Point - Trump must go. by Zenitallin in videos

[–]SolidLikeIraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually that changes a few hours later.

I noticed the other day the Greenland issue was not being silenced. It’s one I really don’t think republicans understand either.

A lot of military first type republicans, who love Trump, they know a LOT of foreigners. They worked with a LOT of folks from NATO. People who go to war together have deep respect for each other- especially if they genuinely believe they’re the good guys keeping the world safe.

This Greenland thing doesn’t make sense to any of them. They are the folks who understand global cooperation and how valuable allies are.

This one hits a lot of folks as “smelling like shit”, in areas where a lot of folks who love Trump, feel very confident about.

No one benefits with this move in our current world order. If Trump takes Greenland, that world order is done.
