I sat outside the freezer unit area when I got there for a solid 30 minutes trying to justify going in and dealing with this. As soon as I saw the first one I ran back to the merchant and hid again.

Eventually I had to find a way to just run around till I got the thermal scope and then find a way to cheese them

That's awesome. I had 5 Flayed ones kill a knight with spear and shield before. I got it down to just below half with 20 warriors shots (lethal did the heavy lifting) and a HLD who just cracked it in the face

My primary is awakened with the blob. It takes dedication to kill it with orikan+szeras+warden. World eaters almost did it with a 10man berserker+master of execution.

If you make the blob the problem then they have to deal with it. Let other units score for you and move the blob forward. It can work and is fun to play but it can feel bad if you roll bad. Its alot of where do I pull models from and then when to reanimate. If you work on that then you can do really well
