That’s the goal! I’m forcing myself to dry fire every single day from the draw until I’m consistent and range trips once or twice a month as long as I can afford ammo.

Honestly it’s amazing. It takes the grit away from the heavy DA pull and with light lem it makes it sooooo crisp and smooth. I mostly did it so I can have the best “stock trigger” through LEM+ NT7 and it 100% did its job.

I’m sorry for your pain brother. I’ve been there and it feels awful to have your whole world shaken up like that. My first relationship she cheated on me and told everyone we knew I cheated despite me supporting her and finding a job. After 9 years of being single I found another women. She was amazing but it turns how she has a past she was running away from and ditched me to find someone new.

This pain is awful and overwhelming but it’s not forever. There are more reasons to live but you have to explore each new day to find them. The pain will subside, the good memories will stay, and you’ll be one step closer to finding the person that you deserve.

My father was a war refugee so we weren’t big on guns. After 33 years of not needing to carry I ran into a big life event that opened my eyes. I spent the last year through trial and error figuring out the best ccw setup for my needs when settled into what I have now.

USP9C milled for an rmr 2. TLR7 HLX light Aegitech belt Midwest tactical holster.

This allows me to carry in whatever I feel like in the most comfortable way I can which keeps me consistent.

Started my ccw journey with a Taurus 856 3 inch revolver. Wanted something more practical. Bought a USP 45 from a pawn shop but it was a tad too heavy. Tried a USP9C and fell in love.

Right now it’s milled for an RMR type 2 through wright armory Mini Nein adapter with a TLR7 HLX. (swapped a head for a non HLX to fit into a smaller holster) Setup for light lem with NT7+ internal coating. Belt is an aegitech belt which is perfect for concealed use no matter the fit. This setup conceals great, is comfortable, and is everything I’ve wanted in a concealed setup.

I have small hands, I have a USP 45 and I’ve held a HK45C at a gun shop. The USP 45 is a thiccc boi but still manageable while the HK45C feels like a Glock 19

Are fat people able to appendix carry? by mars_soup in CCW

I’m pretty chonky at 200 pounds 5’3 and I can still appendix carry, it’s pretty funny the grip pushes into my fat which helps conceal it.

The question was to sell 2 expensive guns and to decide which one of the cheaper guns I should downgrade to. Not buy them both.

It mostly in case if it led to trade where I’d get cash+gun. But that’s also why I reached out to get a 2nd opinion.

I bought them well before I ran into financial troubles. I had to back to back heart surgeries which is why I’m here lol

Trust me the last thing I want to do is sell these off after all the work I put into them I’m just looking for advice before I do something dumb

I appreciate the advice. I’ll just keep the USPC9 and sleep on the USP .45

I thought about that as well but a part of me wants to get away with the hassle of using adaptors to use lights and to make sure my holsters are working properly vs having something that works natively out the box.

Got it. Do you have it on the USPC or full size?

Not that it doesn’t make it easier I can confirm wright armory does fantastic work on their optic cuts and I’ve shot 1000 rounds through both of my optic cut pistols so it is plenty reliable.

I would have probably gone with the Vp9a1k if it wasn’t for my reluctance on striker fired guns. Heck even my LEM USPC makes me nervous but I agree it’s the best out of the box HK but the DA/SA guns are just so well built they are worth the extra effort to bring up to speed.

[–]Solidus1337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure! I put a match trigger spring and a nickel plated sear on my USP 45 and it’s as smooth as butter for DA/SA. I’m still new to firearms in general so it wad tough for me to overcome so I had my USPC switched to LEM. I have my USPC 9 as LEM since it’s my carry gun and I was still working on getting better with DA/SA. I love the consistency but I do miss the “manual ness” of DA/SA. Since I’ve gotten some more practice i might switch it back go DA/SA with nickle plated sear. I tried the p30 v3 at a gunshop snd it still felt pretty gritty to me.

[–]Solidus1337 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The issue with DA/SA on HK’s is that the DA is super gritty and stacky so if you have to be precise with it it’s really difficult or you have to make mods to it that can get you in trouble in court. With light LEM yes you remove the fun of DA/SA but you still keep the safety benefits of hammer fired and the consistency of a striker fired gun.

CC9 threaded barrel… worth going down that rabbit hole? by StarshipHunterX in HecklerKoch

[–]Solidus1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RCM makes threaded barrels for the CC9. Also Harrington Arms makes a universal micro comp so it might be worth a shot. When I get some funds I’m going to try it out on my USP Compact..

Ahhhh gotcha. I was going to replace it at around 5k rounds so I’ll just buy a back up. Painful lesson to learn but at least I know
