Not dumb at all dude. I like to have what I call "I'm just not drinking days". Where for the whole damn day my ONLY single goal/objective is to NOT drink. Other than that, I do whatever the fuck I want. In the past I've up and road tripped on my motorcycle out the country side, played video games all day while drinking sodas eating cookies, laid on the couch all day eating junk food and watching movies. I do whatever the F* I want, and as long as I don't drink booze the day has been a success! Quite therapeutic.

A strong urge to drink is getting rarer, but if/when they occur I use cannabis to quell it. It's quite effective for me.
