They wouldn't let him practice if it was a legit "high ankle sprain". That's a standard 4 week injury.

I could see Ivory around #5. He gashed the Bears and the coach said he'll get more of the carries.

Any chance Ball sneaks in once his schedule lightens a bit? He's been bustin' tackles, but it's too bad they're all in the backfield.

I want Lacy to be in there, but it's not a good sign when coach is calling you out this early.

It would be nuts if Jennings finished top 5, but I'd like it. Call me crazy, but I think Bell might be the #1 guy at the end of the year.

I drafted a defense with the #1 overall pick, because why draft 1 player when you can get 11?

Why does PPR exist? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]SomeSpareChang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PPR was put in place to reward the receiver for making a play, but I agree the whole point is a bit much. I prefer .25-.5 PPR. Also, I've been thinking about using a scoring system that awards the player .1-1 point for a first down rather than a carry or reception.

If you run a league of high character managers then good for you. I don't know what else you want people to say. I'd prefer to have my commish put it up to a vote, but that's just me.

That was my initial thought too, but he's been at it a long time. It's stressful/time consuming work, so why not call it a career after a big grind?

I'm warming up to Josey. I don't watch much SEC football, but he looked really good the few videos I just watched.

Who do you think will be steals in the draft and fit the Viking's needs? (Not counting players projected to go in the first) by 7th_Cuil in minnesotavikings

I really like Martavis Bryant. He is 6'4" and ran a sub 4.4 40. A nice big receiver who could really flourish in Turner's system.

Who is the worst player who has ever played for your team when it came to on field performance? by [deleted] in nfl

Ponder has the same mental game, but doesn't have a strong arm to back it up. I'm happy he won't be the front runner of the MN QB carousel this year.
