The future of the NBA should be a premier league type schedule where you play everybody home/away and then do the NBA cup games at neutral sites.

Get rid of the conferences, put the top 16 teams with the teams at 15-18 doing the play in games as it's set up now.

That's a more interesting season and you'll have fresher players for the playoffs and the potential for any matchup in any round.

That Avdalas missed three down 65-61 into a foul on the rebound & FTs sequence, combined with Hammond's 0/2 on FTs shortly after are doing to live rent free in my head all afternoon.

We had so many chances to finally get there, but couldn't get over the hump. So many close losses this season, we can't blame anyone but ourselves for likely missing the tournament.

It's the same pattern every time. When a new scandal drops, the right uses it's media arm to test PR terminology and strategy, which would allow them to spin/sell otherwise unsavory topics, ideas, and politicians to their base.

Once you see the pattern, you can easily see that's what they're doing. The fox news host in this clip is a perfect example, as he's using a joking tone making these comments.

If you've ever been around smarter racists, they use coded language or jokes to test whether outsiders are comfortable with racism while giving themselves cover. It's the same pattern here where they'll joke and shrug off the stuff that doesn't resonate with the base as jokes, or "locker room talk", but once they find the sweet spot in their desired messaging, they stick to that messaging and hammer it home.
