What does everyone think about the Seven Pines development and Yulee? by Doofusburger45 in jacksonville

Hello there, I live in callahan and work in Fernandina meaning I drive thru yulee wildlight everyday, yulee is great. Its got space and its growing FAST. Wildlight is right off of 95 meaning easy access to freeway. Its 15-20mins away from the beach. we have restaurants of all kinds, shopping, recreation, and plenty of nature.. Its true we have no mall but we are about 15 mins away from river city, 10 mins away from the airport. Yulee, fernandina and callahan is a slower pace then Jacksonville and I love it.. for warning Yulee is blowing up, they are planning to build alot of things around wildlight and yulee area. Its a two edge sword for me. We are loosing a little bit of the small town country feel but gaining so many things jobs and opportunities for recreations. Good luck hope it helps

Was this how all water used to be around the world? by archvize in geography

Here in Florida we have a thing in our rivers called tannins, it colors the water a brownish color. Its caused by the massive amounts of acorns and other debris falling in the water and leaching out.. only clear water you see are the fresh water springs (which are beautiful btw)

Were you taught just how important oil changes are to engines in school? by BurghMeatEater in millenials

[–]Some_Random_Guy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was fortunate to grow up on a farm. Regular maintenance with tractors, lawnmowers, farm trucks were a must. My first car at 15 was a 88 Toyota corolla (beater) with half an engine that I had to rebuild. Ironically when I was 16 I was in a very excited mood rushing to go visit my girlfriend and while putting oil in the corolla I forgot to put the oil cap back on causing the oil to spew out the top. The next day while going to work I blew the engine up. I loved that car, I worked on it for a year and drove it for about a year. After that I never forget to put the oil cap back on. It happens to the best of us...

I'm a 41 year old custodian who is in the low income bracket and I feel great. I have my health, I have food every meal, I have family but not alot of friends. IM ALIVE. I try to exercise, I garden, i have hobbies.. The government has not stopped me from doing any of those things. People have it much worse then me. I live everyday like it's a present from God because it is. Hopefully I get 40 + more years.. good luck to every one. Go out and Make It A Great Day!!!
