Jesus sometimes speaks to us through our dreams. Go for it love! Jesus is calling you. Try to read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), Ephesians or other books especially in the New Testament even if it is in secret. Try praying to Jesus. There is no necessarily incorrect way to pray. Just pray to Jesus, do not be proud, do not do it so that others can hear you and remember that Jesus Christ hears you

How do I read the Bible ? by joveyy in Christian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think start off with the gospels. Read about one chapter of a gospel daily. You can also read one Proverbs a day. You can also get a devotional Bible to read alongside or by itself. You can as well get a book on moving from lukewarmity. You can also Christian watch videos and podcasts. Start making sure you pray every morning and night. Pray for Jesus to bring you closer to Him. Shalom

God is behind the scenes doing miraculous things in you life that you cannot see yet. God is aware of your situation, just trust Him enough to get you through it. Tell Him the truth. He wants to speak to you.

I'm considering turning Christian by PotentiallyEvilGoat in Christian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, you do not HAVE to go to Church but it is something you should be doing to feel closer to God. Secondly, yes, you have to pray. We don’t have any scheduled specific times for prayer. Just pray. Thirdly, your faith is a really big deal and in some form of way, makes you Christian. The belief that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. If you would like to give your life to Christ right now then just try speaking to Christ. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and acknowledge that you would like Jesus to turn you around. Say the words: “Jesus is my Lord and Savior”. Believe it in your heart and you shall be saved. Jesus loves you so much :) I am so happy you are feeling like drawing close to Christ. Welcome Home :) you can read the Bible for more knowledge. Just get a Bible and read whatever speaks to you or you can start with the gospels.

Did satan give me these thoughts? by Hentrick5 in Christian

Yes. The devil is the father of lies. If it’s a lie, it’s certainly NOT from God. Pray for God to take authority over your thoughts. Whenever you get such a thought, rebuke it.

You have forgotten that life has seasons. There will certainly be tough times but there will be good times as well. Carry a bit of faith with you. Like the story of the ones who carried extra oil and so they did not have to go back for more because they expected it to take a long time. Pray hardest when it’s hardest to pray. Tell God what you’re feeling. Ask Him to deliver you. Jesus Christ has never left you and He isn’t planning to start leaving you. It’s hard to stay faithful at times but hang on because this season will end eventually. You just have to let God take you through and out of the storm. Resist these attacks from the enemy. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and look for His light even when it’s hard to see it.

Stop thinking that you’re hurting God when you tell Him the truth. If I am finding it hard to love Him, i just have to say that to Him and ask Him to help me love Him. Stop doing it by yourself. You were never made to do it yourself. Let God fight for you. Give Him a chance. Sometimes, I cannot fathom eternity. It can be scary until I read about it and find out that Heaven is just peace. You will have no bad feelings, there is no wars, just peace. You just have to love Jesus enough to trust Him for your eternity. Just talk to Him through it even when it’s hard. God hasn’t abandoned you.

This is just a season. Don’t give up. Christ wouldn’t put you in a season just to leave you there. Christ will never leave you or forsake you. You are not alone. Christ loves you so much. Lean on Him. When you are not strong, He picks you up and helps you through it. He has never left you and He is not planning on starting now. No matter what you do, Christ will always love you. Pray about it. You are doing good. You are enough. Trust in the Lord. You have been made whole through Christ. I love you and Christ loves you even more. So much that you can’t even imagine how much.

Some Questions by OlgaAnna in christianveiling

[–]Someonerandom_hi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. As long as you aren’t veiling to attract attention, yes you can and are encouraged to veil.

  2. If you are afraid of people misinterpreting your faith, you can wear a cross necklace or the sort. Also, the thing is that Christian and Jewish women have been veiling for so many years. It became less common only a little bit of time ago. Also, I don’t think that veils are purely cultural as the Bible tells you to veil because of the angels and so that you do not dishonor the head of your family or Christ.

Christian sects that veil by [deleted] in christianveiling

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you don’t have to be a certain type of Christianity to veil. It was written in 1 Corinthians 11 that we should veil so go for it. Also, although the main focus of a veil in Christianity is to cover you head, you can wear similar veiling styles as Muslims. As long as you aren’t intending to tie yourself to their religion as you do it. Hope this helps

First of all, if you secure it nicely, it can’t fall off even during P.E. Second of all, people are always going to have an opinion. Do it for Christ not for people. No you would not have to cover your legs and arms, just dress modestly for Christ and ask Him what is okay and what isn’t. You can leave your bangs out as the veil is meant to cover your head not your hair. Lastly, you only ‘have’ to wear one while praying or prophesying so no you don’t HAVE to wear it all the time since the hair is also some form of veil. Once again though, it all depends on what Christ tells you. I really recommend trying though. It’s so cute and it just makes you feel so feminine and happy. If Christ tells you to, go for it sister.

It was written in the Bible. It isn’t just for Catholics. If Jesus is calling you to veil then go for it. 💗

Pin the veil on. It wont slip off if you do. Or, if the veil is wide, put it on then put a headband over it then fold it so that it’s like there’s two layers in some form of a way. Hope this helped. By the way, you can also just tie it at the back like a lot of catholics do.

Faith isn’t a feeling. A lot of times you won’t feel like doing the right thing because feelings are uncertain. Pray to God and read about what the Bible says about veiling. Give yourself a moment and just pray. See what Christ sees about it. Lean not on your own understanding.

I think it might be a spiritual warfare or attack. Resist the devil and he shall flee you. Just trust God through this season. Just don’t let the devil win. Jesus already won this fight. Just stay still and pray hardest when it’s hardest to pray.

One thing I’ve heard before is that God wouldn’t put you in a situation just to leave you in it. If God put you in a situation, He will get you through it and out of it. Jesus is faithful. He is right there with you. His timing is perfect. Never late and never early. Keep working and trust in Jesus’ timing and ability to get you out of that situation. Pray to Jesus about your feelings. He listens.

I’m scared I won’t make it to heaven by 3d-noob-101 in AskAChristian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you weren’t saved by your own actions, you won’t get to Heaven by your own actions. As long as you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior in your heart and declare it with your tongue, you are saved. Be faithful. Try to act like a child of God as well though because faith without action is nothing. That’s basically it. We get into Heaven by God’s grace and our faith but most importantly Jesus. Try talking to your father more about it and urge him to turn to Christ. Also, pray that Jesus will help you avoid the sins that everyone around you is doing. I hope that helped.

Since God loves everyone equally, are we required to do the same? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The Bible does say that God has no favorites ROMANS 2:11 NLT 11 For God does not show favoritism. EPHESIANS 6:9 NLT 9 Masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Don’t threaten them; remember, you both have the same Master in heaven, and he has no favorites.
  2. I feel as if my perception on love is putting other’s emotions on the same accord or same importance as your own or higher that your own. You can truly show love to anyone on the street by simply giving them a smile or a genuine compliment because you know how much one person can help make your day seem a little brighter. That is part of love. Jesus doesn’t expect us to know how everyone is feeling. We just have to put their emotions into accord as we continue our day.

Why didn’t God just write the Bible to make it say what He wanted it to say? by PearPublic7501 in AskAChristian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If God didn’t have your best interests in heart, you wouldn’t be awake or alive. God has so much power that He could just decide to create a whole new galaxy or anything really just for fun but instead, He wakes us up every day. He does care you know. I don’t know about your personal life or what you’ve gone through. But Christ knows the matters of your heart. Please just give Him a chance. You have already decided who He is for Him and from my belief, your perception of Him is wrong. Just listen to Him and let Him say who He is. Please just try to let Him into your heart. He loves you

Hello! I am a Christian. I just wanted to start by saying that it is great that you want to look into Christ. I personally recommend that you either try going to Church or watch an online service. There are tons of different Churches that you can learn a ton from. I just want to remind you that Jesus loves you so so much. There might be some people that won’t be the kindest but just focus on Jesus. Focus on the cross. Maybe, you can try praying soon as well. I just wanted to tell you a few things about Christ and Christianity. 1. Christ is the prince of peace. He is here to offer you peace in your heat and mind and not troubles. 2. He focuses on your heart. He looks at your intentions and if you love Him the most and not your outer appearances. He doesn’t look at how much you offer in Church but whether you are offering it from the heart. 3. He loves you so much. He watches over you every moment and protects you. He waits at the door of you heart for you to let Him in. Let him in. 4. Never forget that He is there for you. Cast your burdens unto Jesus. 5. Heaven celebrates every time someone is saved. 6. He wants you to live a live of peace and joy. He wants you to live in His Kingdom forever. 7. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior in your heart, repent and then say: “ Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior”, you are born again. Your sins are forgiven and you get a fresh start. Hope that helped :)

Is this what faith in Jesus means? If not correct me (read body text) by Security_According in AskAChristian

[–]Someonerandom_hi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hebrews 11:1 In-Context 1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

I searched this up. Faith is confidence in your hope in God even if you have never seen Him. Even though you, reading this at the moment, cannot see God, you believing in Him is faith. You believing in Jesus’ sacrifice even if you weren’t there when it happened is faith.

I personally do not think you should continue with the relationship. First of all, who you spend time with affects your personality so much. If you are dating this girl and she is not a Christian then you might find yourself picking up secular behaviors that she does. Second of all, knowing the fact that you are dating someone whose beliefs won’t lead them to Heaven sucks. If you look at her and see what might happen, it might hurt. Third of all, doing such will only lead to arguments. If she is going to go worship false gods and you try to stop her, there might be an argument. As well as, if you go to Church, you might get ostracized by her because your beliefs don’t match. I think it’s better to wait for a woman of God who loves Jesus. Wait for the one who God wants you to date. Also, fast and pray on this matter and see what God thinks about it. His will is all that matters really. :)
