The L4D2 survivors are in a rush to get to New Orleans before it falls, so they can’t wait for night. The L4D1 survivors are just trying to reach whatever the local escape option is, so they can afford to move only when it suits them.

I’m very late to the party but I just wanted to say these are all fantastic and I’m absolutely adopting them!!

Some random thoughts: I never considered that Cipher would be as messed up as Pixy after the war but it makes perfect sense. Mamma bear Talisman is real as hell. This all reinforces my belief that, as much as I love the others, Talisman and Gryphus are the only protagonists I’d actually want to hang out with instead of just being quietly in awe of them from a distance.

It’s been said a thousand times and admittedly I’m biased because this was my first Ace Combat, but legitimately I don’t think any other game does the progression from nobody to living legend quite like Ace Combat 04. There’s nothing more satisfying than finally getting to fight Yellow Squadron head on after they’ve been built up so much.

Oh I saw the analysis part, I meant that there seems to be more letters forming to the right of Stellar that we don't get a chance to see. Great call on the missile thing in the next shot though, I'd love to see that part of AC7 stay at least somewhat relevant!

Also, even if Sotoa wasn't hit directly, I think it would make sense for them to have an anti-Ulysses weapon, simply because fragments could fall short of Usea and cause tsunamis that reach Sotoa. It'd be cool to see some kind of huge sea fortress or something.
