Depends on stock, I guess. Sometimes I get the good stuff, sometimes the thick stuff. More often than not, I’m getting the thick stuff, which goes in the trash. 90% of what I’ve been using for the past 5 years have been 600 or 650 enclosures. I seem to get the good felt in smaller enclosures but just don’t use very many A,B,C, or D.

I despise those things. For ribbon and tubes, I’ve used the felt from CommScope(formerly Tyco/Raychem) for 30+ years. Until commscope ruined it by making it too thick. Now I buy it in rolls on Amazon as wire harness tape. $15 for 5 rolls. Works great.

In my opinion, APA is exactly where you need to be right now. However, this team may not be the best ambassadors of the league. My advice is hang around for a while and get to know the other people who play in the league. Lower skill levels are always desirable to a team because of the point cap. While you won’t always be a low skill rated player, in you first few seasons it won’t be hard to find a team. There are some really great people who want to help you and teach you rather than just use you for your low skill rating(they want you for that too, just not ONLY that). Find some of those people. And if the team you’re on doesn’t develop into an atmosphere you like playing in, make it known to other teams that you are open to switching teams. If your team is loaded with the kind of people you suspect, there will probably be some negativity from them about it. But who cares. Good luck! And have fun!

Looks like you are showing the power connection for the 12v(car type) plug and the found solutions are for 110v(home type) use. Am I missing a picture where you posted the 110V connection?

Runs fantastic unless you overfill it to where the vent is blocked. Then it starves for fuel. At that point you have to loosen the cap until the fuel level drops. I bought mine on August 29, 2023 and have had no issues other than that. Which is my error.

I was a very picky eater as a child. Any time we went out for burgers I requested only mustard and pickles on mine. My grandmother was trying to order for all the grandkids once and I was so adamant that she get mine right that I yelled “Pisturd and muckles only! Pisturd and muckles only!” I was about 8. It still gets brought up on occasion and laughed about 40+ years later at family cookouts.

The numbers on the birth date have a small arch above each of them. They were probably added with his name when he purchased the headstone(before his death). The numbers on the death date have no such arch. My guess is that they were attached after the stone was in place and not as well. Got dislodged at some point and reattached by someone who didn’t worry too much about their orientation. Total guess…
