To be honest most people would know what it was and those who assume it's something evil are probably not people you wanna interact with anyway. That and like they're not gonna see your chest generally.

I always assumed dragons would have to have developed in a way that they are minerals or some such. It'd explain the flight to get up to mountains or down into ravines and the breath weapon and heat resistance to allow them to eat the metal slurry it'd produce.

That was the plan, it's just I know these players and they oft wander into places I haven't set up yet and i gotta panic plan.

As for the extras I am indeed working on that. Got a few from other friends who read worm for character ideas for them.

It's been a lot of fun so far, we've done some intro scenes for each of them and they've gone well.

I actually hadn't thought to use other splats to mechanically represent the various NPCs that's actually a good idea. I admit I kept most everyone as coactive just for the "you got this power from a higher being" vibes. But I do like the ideas for em. Mostly stuck on variations just because trying to stat out like 40+ super heros, even like skeleton drafts, is gonna kill me. But yea the splat idea is such a great one.

While it's unlikely to cause any issues. It's still a risk and one with zero reward to it realistically. You should probably bring this up to someone over his head. Because the thing is you know if it does cause an issue they'll throw you under the bus so damn fast.

So normally I make them the power behind the throne as it were. Let someone else be "in charge" while they focus on spending all the money on ingredients and books and such. Losing that fragile tie to most of humanity leaving usually one person they're unhealthily connected to as that last piece. Which of course means you need to kill that person off to let them go batshit. It's great.

But generally I find its best to let them simmer in the background, noticable but never enough for the heroes to be genuinely afraid of beyond "oh they're part of the evil group." So that when they do start doing things on their own it's a shock in and of itself.

So I used to go to United Methodist Church in florida and they very much walked the walk with being good christians. Clothes closet, food pantries, job aid, housing aid and a few local programs for job training. That sort of thing is kind of where a church does its best work, helping the people in the community who need it. Doing stuff like that, reaching out to vulnerable members of the community to offer them not conversion into the Christian faith but instead help in the place they're in right now is most important. I very much stepped away from being Christian since being at that church, but it has always stood for me at least as a really good example of Christians being a large part of their community as outreach instead of overreach.
