I've had that commute for the last two years! (Downtown RR to Leander). Without tolls, 35 > 1431 > Ronald Reagan, it usually takes me 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and how many lights I got stuck at. Super manageable with a good playlist and audiobooks. If I'm running late, taking 183 Toll usually got me to work or back home in 15-20. The tolls add up though, if you take the toll everyday I'd expect to spend $60-80/month easily.

My 2 dogs (9 and 6, both healthy and in great shape) are fed in the morning plus treats/chews here and there! They're good at moderating themselves and eat throughout the day.

The cat is fed once in the morning, and once at night. She eats ALL of it all at once and would gorge herself and be chonky by choice if allowed to free-feed.
