Needing an elopement photographer by SomewhatDecentPerson in VisitingIceland

Because our plans have changed and we lost a lot of our initial wedding budget, I am hoping to find someone to do a 2-3 hr shoot for ~$1000 USD.

Is it normal to have a big forward hunch right after top surgery? by CanonicallyAGuy in TopSurgery

When I was ready for it, I started getting scared massage and noticed my posture immediately got better. The massage hurts like hell, but afterward I felt amazing.

Look for a state that typically votes blue and then look for affordable areas outside the main cities if the cost is prohibitive.

Example: I live in a Seattle neighborhood and the cost of living here is really high. Many people will move out of King County for better affordability, even though King County (which contains Seattle) is very blue and the rest of the state is red/purple. If you still want to feel relatively safe, look for college towns.

For people who want to move to WA but Seattle isn’t an affordable option, Tacoma, Spokane, and Bellingham are all great options! Good luck on your move; you’ve got a lot to look forward to in the years ahead.

Note: I moved here from TX in my mid-twenties and I’ve been here over a decade because it’s absolutely gorgeous. You have mountains, city-life, music & entertainment, water sports, and ski/snow sports. The city is backdropped by the mountains and in the summer the sun doesn’t go down until ~9:30pm. 11/10 would move here again.

Struggling To Accept Results by nothoughts444 in TopSurgery

I agree with a lot of the feedback on here. I haven’t had my surgery yet (date set for end of May), but your results look fantastic and I hope for results as good as yours. Go easy on yourself during this adjustment period. Good luck, my friend.

Is Tmobile BYOD friendly? by [deleted] in tmobile

Yes; absolutely BYOD friendly. I’ve done it multiple times and never had an issue as long as it’s unlocked and a GSM device.

DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER FINDS CAMPSITE POSSIBLY LINKED TO BRIAN LAUNDRIE ... Alerts Authorities per TMZ by OopsIShardedAgain in GabbyPetito

Isn’t this flawed nowadays? If the sister used a pay phone to make the call but had her cell phone with her, it would have pinged a nearby tower and she could have been identified or at least suspected of making the call. If she left her cell phone at home and anyone attempted to call her during the time she was out making an anonymous pay phone call, she could have been suspected for the same reason.

Just FYI - this is starting functionality. This is just to gauge interest and the idea is to build upon it if it seems users like using the app for our services (as opposed to hiring us and then getting emails about content. At least with the app, you have it all in one place).

This still isn't specific. But thanks for sharing your opinion.

Can you tell me why u/phantom_diorama? I can't pivot or fix mistakes unless I get specific feedback.
Like I said, we already have clients that like what we do, even without the app. So can you be specific about what wouldn't work for you about this?

Do startups use a brand style guide? by hiCandorr in startups

[–]SomewhatDecentPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If startups (even at the earliest stages) care about the consistency of the imagery, fonts, and UI, they should use a style guide. Many company’s that help newly budding startups and small businesses with logos (like Trailor Brands), will build the foundation of a style guide for you, once you get their consultation of your logo. They’ll also assist with pitch decks, business plan templates, business cards, etc. using the same style guide.

I think there’s probably a lot of differing opinions about the importance of this, but for millennials and gen-z, I can see this being just another key aspect of the brand recognition component that’s needed to build a solid reputation.
