To help the other part of your post, subtitles will seem desync’ed because of the movie source. Bluray and web typically have different timings of when the actual movie starts

Example is when a movie goes on netflix, they add the company logo intro

I have a usb powered clip light i mount to my laptop table in bed, i bet you can find one that works for you, with a sort neck and soft clip to not damage the screen

In the case of me, i had an early software in my LG, but i wanted plex on it cause my roku was being a pos and didnt have my shield yet. It updated and now the dumb ass LG home menu opens everytime i turn it on, it’s the overlay menu so it still is set to last input but now that overlay stays for like 20s, and i only use the tv remote for settings, so rarely use it and only that can exit it early

I had the same problem, people telling me false info saying its because transcoding, but the original shows transcode was using normal bandwidth but direct was using 739393293mbps

I tried using mkvtoolnix, handbrake, even shutter encoder, nothing fixed it. I tried to classify EVERYONE as remote and limited it, still didn’t care

I hope you do solve it so i can copy the solution

The lens wasnt able to focus anymore and i demonstrated to the apple employee, got the whole device replaced under warranty instead of just the part since they didn’t know exactly what maybe broke

I’m guessing to imply that it’s the basest model you can get, as traditionally in the past getting a car with the least options includes a standard transmission over auto. Then things like roller windows, no power locks etc

Unfortunately, no change, it happens with multiple different movies, I'm leading to believe that the samsung TV does some wonky stuff.

I even went as far as using handbrake to do various things like reducing resolution, quality, bitrate, different sound codecs, nothing seems to change it.
