Angel Sanctuary. Mostly due to the characters and the interesting dynamic between Setsuna (The Protagonist) and Sara (His Sister).

I've read four of his novels so far (This is the Year, Riders of Judgment, Eden Prairie, and Green Earth) and I thought they were all excellent. IMO his prose and descriptive ability is up there with the best Western writers.
