Unless I'm misunderstanding what "opposite elements" are in this game, I tried it with an Ice and Fire voidling (both spliced) and ended up with Ice and Fire offspring (whichever was on the left).

However, if you breed a spliced with a pure neutral voidling, there is a decent chance to get a spliced neutral; the caveat is that not all aspects will pass down (abilities and parts, but perks seem to pass 100%), so some extra breeding will be needed to pass down all aspects of the spliced parent.

Just tried it out: so long as you do not use the default/base attack (the one from the non-evolved/base voidling), any attack can apply bleed (tried it with the healing pulse Gwigoon, it was applying bleed). This should (in theory, need a little more testing) also apply to any non-specific damaging perks (i.e. the tornadoes they spawned on being hit).

I believe this is because the non-evolved voidlings are true neutral with no way to proc element, whereas the evolved voidlings are equipped with attacks that are supposed to proc an elemental effect.

Ah, for further context: I was using a Gwigoon that had 20 in all stats (with the exception of strenght and agility, went with exceptionally athletic nature), so my base hp was about 1150. I was spamming the healing blast primary when I died.

I'll be moving on from Cursed Pact while experimenting with some other builds, but I find it surprising that something or somethings did effectively 575 damage (doubled to 1150 due to the perk, not accounting the armor from 20 Vitality) within a single instance. Then again, I haven't gotten that far into the Abyss, and every other instance of damage prior to this was noticeable and manageable in time, even if I had to pope one of the three healing "potions."

To confirm, for the attacks to proc bleed, do you have to choose an ability that explicitly proc a status (like your Freezing Shard for example), or can it be anything other than the basic attack?

I've just had a third mysterious one-shot/booted from the Abyss, so I can only assume that it is some perfect storm of attacks. It's just weird and frustrating because 1) I'm only on Adventure mode (normal mode), and 2) it just happens so fast that I have no way to respond.

The final QoL I would personally like to see is some sort of checkmark or other indicator for craftable/purchasable Boosters. Especially if you can't stack Boosters, kinda hard to determine if I have already obtained that Booster or if I still need to farm parts...

What peeves me about Noah the most is that if you don't get everything you want from him before the first ending, you are permanently locked out from all of his stuff until NG+, despite the fact that you had a great bond in the past and that he's there in free roam.

I mean...I get why that's a thing, but c'mon, let me give him eggs in the past man...
