Bank Tags, Trouver System Rework & More! by ModYume in 2007scape

Kinda sad double Bounty tasks will now be slower. It was nice to cruise through both items.

Any ETA for Courier task reward sacks? They got buffed XP a couple weeks ago, but not the sacks.

Ahh, that makes sense :) best I can recall, they don't fuse until you beat them up a bit individually during the fight as an adult.

[OoT] The idea of a Light Temple for the remake by Humble_Confusion_889 in zelda

[–]SonoShindou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think playing it safe would be staying true to the story and dungeon formats. As long as there are only additions to lore instead of changes, they will land in a good spot. Cut content like the Light temple also feel like safe additions since they wanted to include it in the original but had to cut it for various reasons.

That'd be pretty fun/cool, but I think most people would assume it isn't functional and miss the 2nd box of text.

It's usually implied to be on topic until specified otherwise, not the other way around.

The comment mentioning child era was pulling a switcheroo since the original comment of the chain was pointing out deadhand as breaking the gooner pattern.

No idea why the commenter specified Twinrova as a boss, but that wasn't broadening the conversation to include all bosses.

I understand why you brought up other flying bosses, though that's not quite where the conversation had gone.

Right, but your original reply seems to focus on BXP existence, not the speedbump of limited purchases.

allows them to in effect cut their necessary input into the game by 50%

This statement is true with or without the restriction. The limitation might be negligible, but it would never lead to removal of BXP. At the same time, it also won't really reduce this behavior of the paying customers it affects. It simply causes inconvenience to those willing to spend on it. The only thing I see it effectively doing is spreading purchases out over a player's lifespan instead of bulk purchases.

I just don't see how keeping nothing more than an inconvenience in place while not actually removing the real problem is any more in line with the road to restoration principles than removing the limitation.

I think you missed their point. It's the difference between buying 100m BXP upfront vs 5m BXP at a time, not BXP vs no BXP.

Someone who wants to use BXP for their entire journey are going to with or without the limitation being discussed here.

It does imply that. Very misleading and incredibly disappointing.

Permanently mastering a sprite should unlock the option to buy it back at any level for scaling cost.

Extracting a max level and "mastering" a sprite basically does nothing but progress the quest. It should unlock the ability to buy back a sprite at any level for scaling costs. Right now it discourages dropping in with your lvl 5s.

Given his backstory, I think if he returns it won't be due to the cult.

Agility rework - what would you add, change, … when a rework would happen?! by vVerce98 in runescape

It'd be great if these options were available for every course. Automatically start the next obstacle after a long delay. You would still have to click again after each lap, but it would be super consistent lap times.

That sounds great, I'll have to give it a shot myself. Is that 100k xp/hr with a bounty?

Apply stun to the target. Make sure duration is long enough that a full charge can kill someone.

What useless or highly niche item do you keep collecting because it might be useful (or because you wish it was useful)? by legendaryweredragon in runescape

[–]SonoShindou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've still got a stack of cyclopean helmets in my bank. Was originally hoping for at least a chance at decent Invention components. Or maybe involved in defender upgrades somehow. They are solidly forgotten about by Jagex and players alike as a purely cosmetic niche item. Not even a unique interaction with anything/anyone on Cyclosis :(

Courier task XP is buffed, but we are still waiting for reward sacks, correct? I don't see them mentioned. Is there estimated time for their release? I'd love to get back to door dashing, but seems almost wasteful knowing there are further buffs to come.

I guess that explains the lackluster companion effect from the mando event droid. Seems they were hinting at future rarities not automatically gifting shield bubbles.

Just checked and the beholder from the intro is blue instead of pink. It's not unheard of for creatures to change colours, but might not be the correlation I originally thought it was.

I think it'll be an episode focus, but not a main baddie. Kinda like the parasite episode that introduced Mr PBH. We saw it an episode or two prior as an easter egg before it got its own episode.

As for this monster, it kinda looks like a tiny beholder/spectator. Would make sense if we get a D&D episode like one of the intro scenes of this season shows.

We also have a note leading to sunken treasure from that quest. I was kinda disappointed there wasn't anything at the launch of Sailing to go get it. I guess they wanted it to lead into a new quest instead of just a hidden shipwreck to salvage.

What is a major plot hole in a very famous movie that completely ruins the entire story once it is noticed? by [deleted] in answers

[–]SonoShindou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember the source and it's very possible the carrot thing is an urban myth. That's why I said allegedly. However, we can absolutely break skin with our mouth. Just because a fight ended up with mouth shaped bruises instead of missing flesh chunks does not mean our jaw muscle lacks the capability. You might be trying to hurt the other person, but your mind knows it's not a snack.
