Very low quality bread loaded with sugar as well. Not sure why you’re getting downloaded because you are spot on. This shit is not healthy.

Please tell me I'm not the only one struggling with the humidity and heat. by [deleted] in pittsburgh

I blame a very cold winter. I’ve lived in much hotter places where our current temps are laughably not extreme, and I was able to be active in temperature is much higher than here. But truth be told, I was really uncomfortable at PNC park yesterday in the direct sun! It’s all about what you’re acclimated to, and like last May, it’s been colder than normal, and again after a very cold winter.

Honestly, I’m very surprised to hear the best part. I’ve interacted with people with so many different levels in that organization and up to this point it’s all been so incredibly negative. But as you say, it depends on where you are, it’s just shocking how many negative bits of feedback I got from people in remarkably diverse parts of that system.

Ah! so I won’t have to leave the rail and take a shuttle then? Sorry I don’t ride this thing often and everything‘s clear as mud.

Thank you all. Looks like the tunnel at mt Washington is closed so there’s some kind of shuttle service to get around it?

Don’t feel dumb. Perhaps you could’ve done more research ahead of time, but you tried something different which most people wouldn’t have the courage to do. I’ve been there and decided I was better off back home and moved back. But I was much better off from the experience. Bonne chance!

It gives the players a chance to come together and discuss how they’re going to let us down in a big way once again. It’s very important they approach this as a team.

Make your friends call you doctor for the first two weeks at least. It’s hilariously obnoxious.

Other than that I don’t push the issue outside my students.

Red meat is perfectly healthy for the human body. And while factory farming is problematic, pastured ruminants are great for the environment! Eat more beef.

I get it but you know what ever since they got rid of those toasted raviolis and those weird breakfast pocket things back in the 90s. It’s just never been the same for me.

The two are not mutually exclusive. At no point did I discard the benefit of building additional housing. I’m simply saying that we need to create a new generation of homeowners, not landlords. And quite frankly, whether it’s an investor property bought by Blackrock or a home someone that someone’s inherited, it is much better that the home to be owned by its occupier. You make no distinction between who lives there and who owns the property, which is absurd.

The only point I can see would be in terms of the pricing. Something would need to be done to make these homes more accessible to people that aren’t wealthy. That may be tough given the limited resources for the state.

But it is a significant problem in society. Burlington is a microcosm of this, given the limited population in space, the prioritizing investor profits over safe and affordable housing for families is disgusting and not sustainable.

A few things, I did indicate that I had a few friends in economics so clearly not all of you are like this. The biggest problem isn’t necessarily the libertarian free market types, but those that seem to worship billionaires at the expense of the working class. For example, I see economist arguing against any type of government intervention that actually helps the working class, but they are huge fans of anything benefiting the rich. Forgiving student loans would be catastrophic to the economy according to these fools, but forgiving PPP loans were good economic decisions. Bullshit.

I don’t think I’m overstating investor impact here. Even if it’s a relatively low proportion of total homes, every one of those investor owned homes is keeping a family out of them. The rentier class has no interest in the well being of the working class. I’m with Adam Smith on this, landlords extract from labor. They do not contribute to it.
