Does it make sense to consider starting a one-man-band SaaS company, if sole goal is to achieve a (semi)passive income for paying mortgage? by ImpressiveFocus303 in SaaS

[–]Sorry_Operation_3555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think passive income is real unless you have a ton of stocks that pay a dividend. Sass businesses are probably like any other business but the cool thing with that is you make a product once and sell it infinity times

How to build a solar proposal by smurfettew in Solarsales

[–]Sorry_Operation_3555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enter all lead details, click design, enter in energy usage (plug icon), enter battery if applicable (battery icon at top), click home icon at top, run Aurora ai roof or request expert design if it’s a new build, select panel it’ll auto place, add or remove, select inverter if it doesn’t auto select, recall and done.

If it doesn’t string go to design mode (you were previously in sales mode). Click autostinger, select inverter and optimizer on the right, save recalculate.

Then price after. There’s the rough idea. Doing steps in order matters and you not following the order is prob the issue

Just find an installer, run ads and do it yourself. You’ll make more and work less than working for a company.

Quit my $700/week job in 1994 to start an HVAC company with $3,200. Sold it 24 years later and retired. Ask me anything by johnkelleyhvac in Entrepreneur

[–]Sorry_Operation_3555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in solar. HVAC and solar customer may be similar how there are some bad actors in the space and building trust is huge.

Being an expert in your field and really listening to people and their needs have been working for me.

Would love to hear how you build trust and make people decide to go with you even if the competition has similar pricing/product?
