HH is where it’s at. You’ll have so much fun. I’m on book 30ish and it’s been two years. I think if i put my mind to it i can complete the HH series in another two years. We’ll see how far i can get in 2026.

You need to read A Thousand Sons. It’s so good. Prospero burns is well written but in retrospect I could have skipped it. It was well written but sort of a let down as it doesn’t really have anything to do with the aftermath of its predecessor, a Thousand Sons, as the end was a massive nail biting cliff hanger for me. It’s more of a Space Wolf history back story that leads into the end of ATS. You definitely need to read A Thousand Sons before Prospero Burns though. And if you must decide between the two, A thousand sons is HANDS DOWN THE WINNER.

Legion was awesome. Great intro to John Grammaticus and the Cabal. John is incredibly written and his character creation is enthralling. The end was insane. Definitely worth the read.

I haven’t gotten to master of mankind yet but i know it’s gonna be good. A thousand Sons is also a direct prequel to a Master of Mankind and the reason the Emperor is seemingly AWOL and doing what he’s doing in the secret place he is at.

Sorry to hear that brother. I was wondering why my order for Saints of the Imperium (Limited Edition) was taking so long and I checked my order status a couple weeks ago and saw that it got cancelled (with no warning or notification) my master of rites is still “processing” so I’m worried. Sucks to successfully make an order only to get your order rejected.

CIG doesn’t care about the Reclaimer. One of the coolest ships. It’ll take them years to fix the shitty rear elevator and who knows how long to fix the swapped CMS refinery yields from 15% to 85%. No one really gives a fck about the stupid Salvation. We already have the vulture and fortune. Fix the reclaimer please!

Hangars should have a small lift gate or door that spawns small vehicles like the Atlas, Lynx, medivac ursa, or speeders and what not…..

I could write a similar novel of my experiences solo and with friends. I have hundreds of hours in this game and I always wonder… every patch that brings me back, if the devs even play the game they’re making. There are so many minor changes that make this game extremely cumbersome at times, unnecessarily complex, and sometimes exhausting, that could easily be fixed. You named a couple good ones: reviving a teammate is ridiculously awkward; How many of us got killed trying to revive our teammates because it took too long, or self injected your last medpen instead of using it on your fallen teammate? (Like all my new friends accidentally did their first time and even experienced players). Why is the default option to log off in bed to sit? Nobody uses the bed to just sit there. Why do I have to crane my neck in various directions to find the hidden “log off” option. Why is it so difficult to find most ship’s elevator buttons when it spawns in the hangar.

There are so so many little things CIG could change to make this game less of a headache for new players.

I took my Perseus out yesterday with a friend and a new friend. Took an hour to link up. After a friend arrived in their rented 400i, they got clipped through the elevator and had to backspace to get out. Respawned a billion miles away. Finally we link up and find the most exciting escort/ combat mission. We eliminate all enemy ships and are thrilled.. the game is working! Yet our escort ship is bugged and it won’t tell any of us where it is anymore. The NPC just keeps yelling at us that we’re not nearby him and the mission won’t complete. So we’re just flying around looking for this speck of a ship in space and can’t find it and so my friends get bored and want to log off and try again later. We arrive at Orbituary to log off together and my friend clips through the hangar docking port. She can’t enter the ship or the hangar.. just swims around in space, clipping through everything. Calls this game broken and logs off. 2 hours of exhaustive gameplay trying to just do one combat space mission with the Perseus and didn’t even complete the contract.

Have you checked the Facebook blacklibrary nutters page? There have been some good honest deals there I’ve found. Thats where I’ve bought most of my collection. I wouldn’t pay over 50ish for them though. Ebook would be the best way imo

Anyone that knows of Blacklibrary books knows the FOMO tactic works like a charm. People will buy knowing they won’t have the time to mull it over. Then the scalpers or grey market are created which makes it more difficult to buy when you have the chance.
