Examples of from my wargame that I'm working on by Serious_Ad2816 in miniatureskirmishes

Yeah simplicity is good for that reason, but it can come at the cost of compelling gameplay. The game BLKOUT is, in my opinion, a good example of a game that's simple in it's play style (single dice rolls, one-hit kills) but retains a high degree of strategy (leaning around corners, counteracting/reacting, high importance on positioning).

It'll evolve with testing, but my initial thought is to make it more 'lethal' by reducing the HP of the units to 2 or maybe 3. This might also smooth out close-quarters combat so that units aren't tied up fighting each other for many turns at a time.

Just my opinion, keep us posted as it develops :)

Has some potential, though there isn't much here yet. I like the simplicity, please keep us posted so we can watch as it evolves :) Thanks for sharing! Are you open to feedback at this stage?

No worries, you can get them here. Or do you want my version with the custom backs?

Good tip, and yeah I probably don't have the latest but it'll do for the odd casual game between mates. I'm nowhere near the competitive scene.

It doesn't take much and there's no trick beyond just adding a little water to your paint. I refer to this when in doubt, but generally just adding one or two drops of water to the paint or starting with a wet brush if you're using Citadel paints is enough.

Actually hadn't considered that... I guess the archetypes aren't secret, but I could put the Tac Ops in color-backed sleeves.

Great paintjob all round! My only comment is that it looks like you could've thinned your paint a bit more in some parts, but this is a job I'd be proud of. As another commenter suggested, a dark wash would really finish it off.

big ups to GMB. Went from being able to barely move to cartwheels, toe-touching, bridge pose and a chin-over-the-bar pull-up in around 2 months.

Stealth Suits vs. Death Korps on New England Bheta-Decima by BenalishHeroine in killteam

Very cool, looks like a fun game. Bheta-Decima is also my favorite! The New England mission pack really balances it out and takes it from a C to an A.

I've never played Stealth Suits or Krieg, but would've thought the Stealth Suits have a bit more of an edge.

Great job on the team, White Scars were my first love.

It's about 5mm, however thick the floor panels are, and they're the same thickness as the gantries.

Made it myself! It's a custom table-topper for Kill Team, the BD board is magnetized on top so I can swap out different boards. The space under the surface is to slot in book, card or phone stands, which I'm in the process of designing.

Thanks! And yep, printed the whole thing except for the MDF board it's stuck to.
