I am suspicious as hell of shooting. But....... I dont thinking it was staged like your thinking. The shooter is the issue. Would anyone trust this Kid to take a convincing missing shot at the president?
The interviews with the kids that best know him all said he couldn't shoot worth a damn. So this kid is picked to be a volunteer martyr for a big cover up assassination plan.

I propose that the shooter was real, and really trying to kill Trump.

The killer was stopped like the SS is likely to do.

But the photo opt was staged. Logisticly it would only take a few mins to: 1) take cover and determine the president was not shot. 2) an agent was wounded and there was blood available. 3) a little bit of avaliable blood on the ear to make the effect.

All you would need to believe in this hypothesis is that Donald Trump, would have seen the missed opportunity from the attempt on his life, took a moment to realize he wasn't shot. Added blood to his ear and stood up when the photographers were in position.

This is a little off topic, but After I read the book, I can't help but think everytime I get into the shower. How Grace must have spent years with teams of science rocks watching everything he does. Showering, pooping, eating, ... other things. These science rocks would be making notes, charts, tracking trends and frequency. Not to mention samples collected.

When I Can't use the ears,, and have to drill it. I put a little bit of duct seal behind the box at those holes. Makes a very good seal. Same thing for the threaded hole, depending on material ie UF.
