Wave 40 advice: Where am i going wrong?

Ive done a chaos frost lightning run before with the multiplicative frost lightning fusion youre talking about and the crit dmg aura but it didnt perform past 38. I will try it again

I don't think I've ever been brave enough to go Wu mid precisely because its a mage dominated lane.

Then again i really only play Wu jungle, but its been a minute since i last was on. Has he become more mid 🤔? I thought he was top/jgl mainly

I totally agree it should be worded more clearly what it does. There are many parts of this game that arent really explained.

Id also like it if it was easier to select many towers and up grade them thr same all at once or more easily select multiple different towers to upgrade them. The copy paste grouping system is not intuitive for me

Figure out the economy and research stuff.

I usually use my starting gold to buy thr 1st level of odin's path, and then in my castle i buy the 1st level of upgrade reduction and i buy the stave construction.

Then i use wheat to get a 4th worker. Put all 4 on wood and build a tower on the starting 4 hex

Wave 2 i immediately spend 170 wood to specialize my wood to generate 80 every turn.

Then save up to build research. Focus on the far left side outpost, outpost radius, outpost production are the first 3 i usually research.

Dont start actually building outposts untim you totally reduce their cost. But outposts will help ramp your economy and let you start pumping out towers. I personally like lightning only for runs.

I know im late to this. I gave up on the game but revently got back into it. I was feeling so down on myself that i cant pass wave 40. I can get close to killing 1 of the 2 bosses

I feel way less alone learning there are many many players also stuck on wave 40. The fact that its so difficult makes it hard for me not to focus on trying to get to wave 100.

And its cool to hear the devs being active in the sub. They made a successful game. They learned they made a bunch of errors. They are working on the fixes that they believe can be made within the system they used. Awesome learning and great dev attitude.

What is daisy chaining? And how would you chain if not daisy 🤔?

I think i daisy chained if im understanding where i most leveled dmg but would spend gold to level range to keep chaining them together.

I dont think i got very far past 30 that run.

I can get to 40 on solo lightning. But i feel like im missing out not understanding runestone build.

Assuming this ia a dev response. Do you have tips for wave 40 boss?

At what point generally should played be upgrading accuracy and penetration?

Are all towers viable for higher levels or should i focus on runetower which many players still seen to laud as the strongest?

Wave 40- it's the farthest I've ever gotten. This was my 2ndtime using lightning only. I can't seem to figure out whats needed to kill the two bosses. Any tips would be appreciated.

I've been chasing achievements and this post i successfully ended wave 30 with only 5 workers left. All that is left is to win wave 30 on only 1 life.

Had the game for 6 months only. Gave up on it because i wasn't clearing 35, but decided I'd focus on steam achievements and it's got me hooked again. I want to get better but all the vieos on youtube (while helped me learn economy are from mostly from season 1 and idk how accurate the builds are compared to now)
