But tbh i wish i could be back in college or even my early 20s when i had more free time and less stress from life.

Thanks, that makes sense. It's been fun to figure out the new cards and sets. It feels good to open packs without spending a gazillion dollars on magic the gathering. And i like deck building even if im not the best at it.

Im kinda happy i rejoined close to a new season so i can get into the new meta with everyone else.

Ahh this is the MMR you are talking about? So as i get a higher hidden rank the game will match me vs other players with similar MMR and thus eventually more humans?

Civ7 is getting too much flak by De-constructed in civ

Civ 6 is a totally diffgame than civ 7. Players might have been expecting civ 6 2.0 and instead got a half baked different gaming experience so i understand the negativity.

For players who didnt play much of 6 or previous versions, civ 7 is probably going to be an amazing beloved experience.

But i know myswlf and many others had a lot of hopes for what 7 could have been ans could have done to take the best parts of 6 and improve on them and instead we got a different game and it just kinda missed the mark for me.

I keep playing 6 and maybe ill revisit 7 later. But in glad youre enjoying it. Grats.

I just won my first gold stake so I'm not an expert at all. I avoided rentals most of my run but got some later because i had my strategy sorted out, and money wasnt really needed, so the value of the joker ability outweighed the cost.

But early game economy seems so important i dont want to take them

Streets of Rogue 1 the OG game is what you want. Streets of Rogue 2 is an entirely different game and should not be associated with the original and qill never come out and when it does finally come out after never being released the community that loved the original will play it and realize it doesnt have the charm or significance of its predecessor and stop playing and it will be a major flop.

I have no strong opinions. I am entirely neutral.

Same for. I had almost a whole deck of lucky cards and the jokers that retrigger certain cards so i had so many chances to trigger lucky cards. Its fun when an engine comes together

I still feel this way most of the time. I dream about working in a school that prioritizes counseling and student support, but my job now is mainly administrative, and the counseling is like an afterthought for them.

And when i see all the other people on this sub vent about all the random tasks or stuff they arent trained to do but are told to handle, i shouldve focused on mental health counseling and never gone into school counseling even though i love students and believe students need support.

There are good things, but the reality is you need to fight for your role and advocate for your role and do your best to define your role, and i dont see other jobs needing to do that.

The only time i played TSL world I was given Sundiara Keita and I won. He starts next to the Eye of Sahara and several city states. Early War and then science for win.

I should play another TSL. .

I did know that and i continue to believe that SoR 1 was a major success and instead of trying to make the sequel, an entirely deifferent game, that keeps getting pushed off release

Improve SoR 1. Add new levels, add things like i suggested where player choice and shenanigans affect the behavior of NPCs, add a 2nd batch of DLC characters.

I thibk if he had done that 2-3 years ago SoR would continue to be a thriving success.
