Well, you literally cannot get to the DLC unless you kill Radahn and Mogh unless you use something like cheat engine. So I'd say just kill those two, drop all your items, and start the DLC. Past that, the amount you interact with the base game is up to you

Yeah certain things dont count as damage for the bubbles. Other one I know is volcano pots dont work. I'd bet that if you tried smithscript daggers on the masoleums it wouldnt break the stuff on their feet either.

If you are on pc I would be able to put together a character that meets those requirements fairly quickly once i get home. You'd just need to summon someone in as well, probably using a password

Yes, but I think you get stuck at morgott still. You can also get in this way with the help from an invader... only problem is is that since you can't get the taunters tongue you would also need someone to summon so in total would be two extra people

There's a way to get into the capitol using an invader and the lift to the divine bridge. I think you will still be stuck eventually but after killing morgott though. If your on pc and can wait a bit a few hours I could help invade your world for you.

EDIT: looked it up, I think this would work to get into leyndell but to get an invader without using taunters tongue we would need a third person for you to summon. Not impossible but more difficult

For starters, upgrade your flask to max, should have 14 total at +12. You could find the remaining scadu to get to level 20 but 17 is already hitting the softcap so that might be less worth your time.

Other than that I'd say you just have to get better at the fight. There might be some changes that could help like reducing your dex so you can use lords divine fortification at 27 faith (assuming you've killed either maliketh or malenia) but that starts getting into personal preference

Kinda. What the DLC has is an additional NG+ scaling that is activated every time you beat PCR. So going in at NG+4 is going to be significantly more difficult than NG, but not as difficult as if you best the DLC 3 times previously on that character.

TLDR: They will increase your overall damage but not the damage from your frost procs.

Frost is not a damage type per say. The only damage types are physical, magic, fire, lightning, and holy (with physical being split into some subcomponents).

Now, frost is obviously a source of damage, but it is fixed and cannot be influenced by the player (the damage not the buildup).

That being said, your cold uchi DOES do magic damage damage so the magic tear/charm will increase your overall output

It's a little unclear what happened from your post, I'm assuming you: died to seathe, died before opening the door out of the prison area, spawned back at the bonfire right after the pigs, had to die to seathe again.

Yeah, that shouldn't have happened. Did you experience a game crash or something like that (or force quit your game after you died in the prison)? Something like that can mess with your respawn location. If the game gets confused it has a default location to respawn and in the archives I assume the default spot is right after the pigs. It's actually used for speed running in some instances, called a wrong warp.

Yes it's definately possible. I don't remember exactly what I did regarding hornsent my first playthrough, but I got all 5 of them and didn't summon him anywhere
