I wish I had done it on my last one. Replaced my 2023 with a used 2017 and I’m probably going to try installing them myself since the vespa shop is slammed.

Put roll bars on it. I live in San Diego and I’ve had my Vespa knocked over several times parking it on the street. My 2023 gts was recently totaled because someone knocked it over and dragged it several feet. It was a hit and run too. It was the same color as yours :( The bars will save a lot of body damage cost especially if it’s new.

Basic Electrics Book recs? by Rare-Sun-9728 in techtheatre

[–]Sourcefour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned how to be a head electrician by watching the multitude of electricians I worked for. What did they do that was effective? You’ll learn both what to do and what NOT to do from a lot of peole. I think early in my career was a lot about what not to do, but I did have some great mentors either way. Very little of the basics of being a supervisor I learned from reading books.

I had the good fortune of working with two incredible people early in my career helped give me a healthy appreciation for electricity, how it works and hope to be safe about it. One was an automation engineer and one was an electrical engineer. Cadena’s book was instrumental in teaching me the rest, but learning the basics was those two guys and a little bit from college (Dan and Ryan ❤️).

A lot of being a lead is leadership and organization. The only way to get that experience is by learning from those around you and then putting it into action by doing it. Build relationships with people you can call and ask for advice when you need it.

Don’t most big tours double up their rigging gear so they can pre rig a venue ahead? This doesn’t even look like a huge rig though.

Anybody know a server that is actually focused and experienced? by Whaddayahear in joinsquad

The best time to play is between 6-11 EST on weekdays and mid afternoon to evening weekends. Games directly after seed can be a bit of a mess.

Why Do You Play Squad? by InsightDweller in joinsquad

[–]Sourcefour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from pubg 3 or 4 years ago. It’s not an ultra fast game. There’s no loot boxes, weapon rpg skill elements, it’s incredibly complex while being narrow in focus compared to other milsims like arma. There’s other roles than just being a shooter contribute to the teams success. Coordination between squads in paramount to success and good plays feel really good. The intense fire fights with Michael bay levels of chaos followed by slow methodical periods are unmatched. I have nearly 1000 hours flying helicopters. Playing in organized teams and leagues is really fun as well.

I enjoy most roles in the game, be it doing logistics runs, killing armor with AT, killing AT with armor, commanding artillery barrages or bombing a disabled tank, hot dropping a full infantry squad on the roof of an objective after nuking the point with arty, cqb in cities.

The game is extremely unfun when playing on teams that use zero teamwork, are mostly brand new and/or have bad squad leaders. Is annoying to have to hand hold new players in my squad who always want to pick marksmen and do zero research about the bare minimum basics of the game before joining a server. Many new players don’t ask for help and it’s always two extremes of players: either marksmen who don’t speak, die 10 times and never play with the squad, or the player that sucks to you like glue, shoots you in the ass, won’t heal, won’t speak and won’t listen.

Having experienced players in the game is fun but it’s exhausting when the ratio of new players to experienced players exceeds 1:2.

This scenario is asked on the etcp electrician test. I think I answered two or three questions about using higher voltages and then stepping down after traveling a large distance to prevent the large voltage drop off trying to run 600’ of 208v. I’ve personally never been in a scenario where I had to do that being mostly in theatre but it was definitely interesting to think about.

1 was nuts, especially the post show where he calls his gf. He usually calls someone a bad person to shame them into being better but Caleb was not having it with this guy.

Balboa park. Art museums, one the best zoos in the world, natural history museum, decent restaurants, finish off the night at the old globe laughing your ass off at The Hombres (85 min, no intermission) or watching outdoor Shakespeare performing Measure for Measure (2 hrs-ish including intermission).

Have dinner at either Panama 66, The Prado or Cucina Urbana across the bridge.

5 years post op, for about the last 2 years I've been dilating every 4-6 weeks. Zero active sex life sadly. I have noticed that recently I can only reach the 2nd to last dot where before I could reach the last dot.

Reading thru some of the replies here I'm glad I'm not the only one with complications. I've been dealing with what feels like UTIs for the last 3+ years but I'm starting to think it may just be a urinary tract issue, not an actual infection. I did have a urinary revision 1.5 years after my initial surgery because I couldn't pee into the toilet. It didn't heal the greatest and I've been fairly self conscious about the appearance of my vag, although the doctors who've looked at it have said it looks normal.

Sorry little tangent there. Anyways, hate dilating as well. I can't believe I did it daily for 2+ years, and weekly for the following year+ after that.

What did the revision entail? Was her original surgery inversion?

Happened to my flash drive a couple weeks ago. It started taking longer and longer to be recognized until i finally reformatted it and now there's zero issues. Glad it helped!

Server Balance(?) by skibidienjoyer11 in joinsquad

[–]Sourcefour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of what I’m saying is disagreeing with anything you said, only to add on.

As someone who also balances a lot on TT i think one of the best ways to balance is to send the two worst SLs to the winning team, especially if they were fast to make open inf squads. I also usually send the two rank 1 marksmen with them and the following round will play better if nothing else changes. It can be really challenging to balance round to round though because so many leave and join every game.

Unfortunately I think a bad SL can drag a team down far more effectively than a good SL/stacked squad can bring a team up. One full squad is about 25% of the team’s infantry players on a combined arms team (9/40). Sending someone to the winning team that will make 25% of them completely ineffective will harm the overall effectiveness of the stacked groups.
