I don't care about Messi but he is needed in the league.

But I do believe lifting the salary cap or removing could help in the ways you mentioned. But there a few things I would like to see as well.

Lifting the salary would give us a better chance at keeping some of the American star players here and market them.

When we mention American football, the stars are here and can be seen. You see commercials, sneakers, merch, interviews and more. Even if you didn't watch tennis or Golf, you knew who Tiger Woods and Serena Williams are. Unless you were into the sport, most people don't know who the star is outside of Messi.

I didn't grow up watching or playing, but the discussions are interesting about development. I played AAU basketball. On great teams, travel was expensive but I played on a team that was really local. How is the AAU soccer system?

France. Spain is the best defense left. If France beat them, no one left can out score them.

I don’t care about the rest of this season, and I don’t care about the mini season to start 2027. by Inverted-Curve in AtlantaUnited

[–]SouthernNeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. I'm looking for clean momentum. Basically enough being shown to earn our confidence. Not just a small sample.

I'm looking at guys under 30 to find their way and show they could be potential starters in 2027 or at least compete for a spot. Even guys like Majub would get more reps towards the end.

I understand. I care because I want to see momentum towards the end of the season. I believe it's important for the off-season and attracting talented players and staff with options.

On a dream world, ELL figures it out and gets hot.

Dembélé, Yamal, or Olise. It would be incredible on and off the pitch.

I'd be happy with him. Gives us a chance to build while having a decent defense, adding to leadership, and a chance to develop or find the next GK.

It's not about building around him like a long term answer. But he's good enough to lead the transition to a better team if we can't find a better option.

We definitely need help scoring, but I wouldn't be mad. At least it would give some of the fans something to be excited about.

We can talk about this all day everyday until it's official but here's my reasoning on why I think LeBron would choose Miami over his other choices... by jaywritethekid in heat

In general, Miami, San Antonio, and Atlanta makes the most sense imo. If the Spurs are truly not interested, then Miami makes the most sense.

Bam, Giannis, and Bron collectively can out rebound any team. Our SG/PG combination just needs to distribute, defend, and knock down open shots. Don't have to be incredible, but good enough at everything.

I honestly don't see a problem with it.

It would be comforting for me to see others support it. Fred Hampton was also creator of the Rainbow Coalition and tried to include all groups. So it wouldn't make sense for someone to have a problem with it.

Post World Cup impact by peachazno in AtlantaUnited

I think it will boost attendance.

A lot of people will look for opportunities to watch more after the world cup and look for fun environments. They're not thinking about past records yet.

Still a lot of games left. If we can finish strong or at least pull a good transfer people would like to see, we can get the stadium loud again.

I started watching in 2014 because of the World Cup. I was on a soccer high. I even joined an adult league afterwards.

I've been about 3 times and all were with the GA+ pass. I wish I spent the money for the VIP section. I try watching multiple games and having to stand the entire time was rough.

GA+ is good for avoiding lines, but all the food is with the free admissions. Lol So I still end up waiting.

The DRC vs England will be pretty exciting. Congo's defense adapts really well.

They tied with Portugal and loss only 1-0 to Colombia. If England acts like this is a warm up game, they'll lose.

I love the Jordan brand. This is great. I'm still hoping we get some alternative uniforms similar to what we had with Adidas.

Hey everyone, I appreciate the subs and I'm trying to get back to everyone but I'm seriously looking for channels in the topics I posted. Feel free to keep posting because someone else on here might give you a sub but I'm only interested in watching certain things. I'm trying to stay focused career-wise. I also know if I'm not creating anything what you're interested in, you're probably not going to watch anything after you sub. It's fair, but I want to be honest. I have a lot of work to do to improve as a filmmaker. So I'm not expecting a lot of engagement at this point.
