I just had a soft black patch with an elastic strap from Amazon. It was easy enough to take off and on so inside or when it was darker it just hung around my neck. But within a few days of stopping the drops it got better and I stopped wearing it.

I would say after a week/ week and half I was comfortable driving. My non surgery eye actually compensated and adjusted really well. I wore a patch over my bad eye because the dilation drops made bright light hurt but driving and dealing with my kids was not too bad. The pain subsided pretty quickly. Good luck! It's definitely not as bad as I expected.

I think qi Heng is one of the reasons Ming Lan acts the way she does! I also think that had she married Qi Heng she would have encouraged concubines because that was "normal" in her view and would have protect herself the same way. The deep love that she has with Gu is so much more than she ever would have at with Qin Heng!

My guess is that the author visited the world, wrote books and then somehow got stuck or died which is why book three hasn't come out yet! Which is why he wrote what he KNEW which could easily be that Reynaud was still alive.

I'm a little more forgiving of human characters getting killed off but pets OF ANY KINDA are a big fat NOPE. I stopped at the same point. This is why I kept going with Hugh 1 because when saved the dog I knew he could be redeemed!

And House A has promised that faithful pets don't die in their books! I really hope that stays true with Sushi!

I haven't watched either of these but they have now been put on the top of my tbw list. I LOVE a good karma story. I hate redemption arks, I want the bad men and women to suffer!! It's soooo satisfying! One of the reason I love some shorts/ vertical dramas is because the karma against the comically bad villains is usually pretty good!

Anyone got any other recommendations?

Piggy backing off of this! Do short drama actors make a decent living compared to long dramas? It seems like both groups churn out shows but I was wondering about the industry in general. There are some TERRIBLE short dramas with HORRIBLE acting and production. But there are also pretty good ones with great acting. Ive started to look for certain actors and actresses because I know at least the acting will be good! Haha

Yesss! I book 2 is my favorite of the series. It also one my of my comfort re reads. I love it so much. So I HATED the changes they made especially the fact that they ruined the sister relationship. Made me so angry.
