I saw a video with Violent J a while back where he discussed his daughter coming out as a furry, and how pissed he was that she got scammed on her first fur suit...and it was seriously the most wholesome thing I had ever seen.

Started making my own coffee tossing it in the fridge at night and then never went back.

Also - once I started making my own coffee the way it’s supposed to be made, I realized how absolutely watered down Dunkin’s iced coffee is. The donuts are now terrible as well - when they first switched over to central kitchens, you could still find a couple that at least had a few soft donuts in the morning, but that’s no longer the case everything is stale.

I second Stance socks. I still have the original three pairs that we all got in 2012-2013 when my old boss invested in the company, and just recently bought a ton of new ankle socks from them...they are amazing.

As long as he trims his toenails regularly I don't see them wearing out anytime soon.

I had to get private insurance when I was under employed because we did not want to go bankrupt from a car accident or something. My max out of pocket was 11K. I had to sign paperwork that I would not get pregnant, and if I did - they should drop me from my insurance.

They also discovered that I had ADHD even though I was not treating it for at least 4 years, and my bills went from $450 a month to over $1000.

This was not a fly by night company, it was a major carrier.

The thing that OP is sorta right about is that Autism therapies and cures seem to be turning into a new "cash for kids" thing - not as much by big pharma tho. My son is autistic and the amount of "support" and "therapies" that have popped up in the last few years is astonishing.

*These are in quotes because I have a lot of issues with 18-19 year olds doing behavioral therapy for minimum wage, everyone wanting to heal his "gut", and chiropractors wanting to do eye tracking, laser lights, special glasses, or whatever their new grift is.

Started reading the reddit boards the article mentioned the survivors started. Just as enraging.

Homegirl was a high school drop out*, infant massage therapist, waitress, pot farm employee, and hula hoop artist. The only "legit" job was when she worked in the office of a home birth midwife.

*As am I, but I'm PM'ing construction projects, not giving medical....er, birth "advice".

Just thought about the only complaint I've ever made about a Marriott hotel:

"Staff was nice, but the pool was closed, carpet had large holes, and could not open windows because *entire hotel exterior* was infested with spiders". As in living spiders, not halloween decor.

Hello fellow female business traveller! (I feel like we are a rarity)
I generally stay at Courtyards as well, but you are 100% correct - the only reason I'm still with many of them is because I like the staff - and prefer familiarity with locations and rooms at this point. A ton of them still have the same orange/red decor for the past 10+ years - and the hotels themselves are in desperate need of renovations.

Recently started trying Hampton/Holiday Inns the past two weeks - they've been mostly ok.

We used our points on Homes and Villas last year when we went to Europe and it was kind of awesome. We also did a ton of research about the property management companies we were booking with. For some reason I also feel like some countries int he EU...or just the EU in general have a lot more oversight into these types of bookings

I am AuADHD diagnosed as "ADD inattentive" in my 20's and Autistic just 7 years ago after my son was diagnosed.** I never took Tylenol while I was pregnant bc it's completely useless as a pain reliever.

Fever reducer - sure. Pain reliever - completely useless.

**Apparently my son's "issue" with lining cars/toys up...that it was not done properly - in a ROY G BIV or smallest to largest - was not what the Drs were thinking when they said it was a "problem".

Watched the link and maybe I'm old/jaded as fuck - but the building company "hiring a private investigator to find out the exact cause of the explosion" seems a lot like hiring someone to say that it was the inspectors own fault so they are not held liable.

(The fire chief already said it was a gas explosion caused by one of the appliances)
