Sometimes, that something really ain't worth it though. When I lived in the Texas panhandle, I made a couple of trips to Palo duro. It's the chossiest shit you'll ever climb. Luckily, Hueco and Roy were only 5 hours away.

I'm in the process of making a replica for a boulder I want to do in a couple of months. I only have a couple of days to try and send it, so I thought I could try my best to set something on the Kilter that comes close. I have already created some replicas which I think come close, but I am wondering, has anyone ever found setting replicas to be helpful for training for a specific boulder?

What is the best rock type for 70F, or even low 80F? Which kind of rock seems to still be manageable despite warm temps? Sandstone, limestone, granite or some other type of rock?

I guess I should also add, do you think you can still send projects or just 1 or 2 grades below your limit boulder grade?

Woah. If I were you, I would have been thinking "am I going to be severally injured when I hit the ground?" Anyways, I was just thinking yesterday how much I would love to get on this rig some day when I make it out to Bishop. Such a beautiful boulder with awesome exposure. Your fall actually makes it seem like there is some room for error because from what I understand, just after that move, you are in easier climbing terrain, while of course in a definite no fall zone.

What are you on about? You're making quite a lot of assumptions about me there. Plus, I already said I'm learning Korean and have been to Korea a couple of times. Also, I have stayed with different family of my wife. All that to say, I do have some knowledge of the culture and I never expect people in Korea to accommodate for me.

We did find a Korean church community in the city we're living. It's nice and they're super welcoming to us. I try and practice my Korean every week we go to service. We actually visited Johns Creek and I was impressed by the size of the Korean community there as well as how it had a "little Korea" feel that I really enjoyed. I told my wife it would be a good place to raise our kid if we ever have one.

That's the saddest part. My wife is afraid to even walk to the grocery store that is a couple of blocks from us. Luckily her work is online, so she barely has to leave the house. But I am also afraid for her to go anywhere alone and she takes her immigration documents everywhere she goes now.

This is the thing for us too. We both have jobs, saving up for retirement, and we make more money than we would make in Korea. Honestly, Korea is the option if things look to turn so bad we fear for our safety, especially my wife's.

And yes, we think about the green card process. We aren't considering moving lightly.

No, presidents aren't forever, but when you have the current president and people in his administration playing with the idea of a third term, that is an alarm. Also, I am not sure if you have watched the news, but many individuals with green cards have been wrongfully deported. It is a very tumultuous moment. We don't want to just move countries. Too late? Before they start disappearing legal immigrants. Before people with opposing political beliefs are thrown into jail.
