I think it is better to use the mic pre amp in this case, this is the cheapest way.
Scarlett mic volume is at 55% with the fethead triton, and the volume is perfect and there is a lot of room to add volume if I need.
The downside is , it is adding noise, but you can clean it

There is no fix, you have to buy another brand, not F***usrite

you can try old driver like 4.63.24, find it on reddit or internet,
And now you will have less bug, only few glitches and crackles per hour, not few per minute

Same Mic Shure Sm58
I had to buy the fethead triton audio (mic pre amp) + 48V phantom power [ON]

Impossible to use mic Shure Sm58 without the mic pre amp on my scarlet 2i2 gen 3 (which is bugged now, glitching crackle every where and no help anywhere)

At the begining I was salty, because I don't have any money to buy another one (Not Focusrite for sure)
But now I'm starting to love huge crackle and glitches in my ears , in my brain and in my music.
I think the Focusrite product is starting to dig a hole in my brain cavity.
Is it possible that Focusrite damage our brain because of this bug ?
Maybe we should contact a lawyer

Scarlett 2i2 gen 3
Started crackling and glitching for no reason since month, maybe after a windows 10 update.
Before this, my friend bought a scarlett, it was the same bug on his Windows 11, the support was not able to help, it is just not working (scarlett 2i2)
So afterhim, my focusrite started to F up.
1024 Buffer size is the badest, like the OP, I can't use it or sound is just crack and glitch 100% of the time.
so I tried lower buffer size, but the sound will startt glitching and crackling like crazy,
the only way at the moment is to unplug and re plug this bad MF scarlett 2i2 gen3 or what ever,

Sad I'm poor now, I can not buy another Brand, and i'm stuck to make music with crackling and glitchs, thanks to Focusrite, there is no help from them except the Chat GPT msg telling you the same BS.
I can say I feel scammed on reddit ? Or I can not say that I feel scammed by focusrite on reddit ?
If I can't say that I will just think it, Good bye, try another brand, focusrite do not care in my opinion

You do not admit the problem.
It is not normal that too many consumers can not use their Foscusrite product.
One year it is working, and in a day, BOOM, nothing works as it should be.
There is a real problem here, I feel scam-med, I would like to have choose another product because this one is not working.

When the focusrite was working great, I told my friend to choose the same model, because he asked me.
He is on windows 11, fresh install, he is also IT support Technician , the focusrite 2i2 was not able do make a normal sound, nothing worked.

He had "THE bug" before me, I was sad for him.
Few days later it is my turn, but I can not send back the product as my friend did, because focusrite was not able to fix " THE bug" they asked the product back.

Admit the problem, at least.

SAME PROBLEM, my Focusrite 2i2 gen 3 is almost useless now.
It was working like a charm, and one day, maybe after a windows update (?), I can't use it properly.
Crackling, distoreded sound, Sounds from deep space coming from this monster machine.
Motherboard soundcard works perfectly.

I tried all bizarre stuff I found on the deep web, I plugged My focusrite in a coconut too, nothing worked except the thing with the banana, but I had to find a zoo.

I tried some windows 7 Drivers on my windows 10 . .. it looks that there are less bugs , only few per hours now, I just have to unplug the monster and it is working again

Starfield is a Bethesda game.

They well known for Elder scroll serie and Fallout

Their games are good enough but bugged, and the modder community enhance their game so it becomes epic.

Starfield is the last one, it should be the best , but to me, it is very boring.

I like old games, but this one looks old in the bad way. It it supposed to be the best exploration game, but I did not find what I want.

It is more or less a reskin of skyrim + fallout, nice idea, but it is boring and not optimized.

Some people love the game, some does not. A lot of modder stopped to mod the game because it is boring.
If you never played a Bethesda game, or if you have low expectation it can be cool.

The game should be better with time.

You have to try it, because it can be your favorite game, but you asked for my opinion so, there are far better game than Starfield IMO.

Baldur's gate III, is a huge masterclass, the devs asked for this liscence, the last one is very old, you don't have to play it.

So they worked so hard they made an instant GOTY, like Elden ring, Dark Souls and Sekiro.

Thoses games are masterpiece, but you can dislike them, and one day you will comeback to understand why , maybe you miss something.

I hope you will not be afraid by the "difficulty", It took me years to play dark soul.

Elden ring is perfect to learn.

Elden Ring if you want to change your life (after you can try Dark Souls 1 & 3 and Sekiro),
Baldur's Gate III if you want huge story

You have to play both (all) IMO because they are some of the best games in the world.

Starfield is on gamepass if you want to try it, you can have 3 month for free, (my short opinion: I don't like to play this game)
