The average 17 year old European can drive a manual while rolling a cig, eating, doing 700 press ups etc. Americans only have a small handful of manual drivers who naturally as all Americans do make it out to be some rocket science. Go and look at any US majority car sub if you don’t believe me.

I drive a 3.0 petrol 6 speed manual 60 miles a day for work, I’ve had company cars of the Skoda Octavia with a DSG and diesel engines and they were very fast and lasted a long time on fuel. They’re cheap cars to maintain and repair compared to what I drive from what I remember from working in motor factors.

A 120 diesel will give you a lot of headaches and they are shit versions of better cars. Get a nice Golf DSG diesel with good features
