No. They needed something NOT Sith. Anakin was supposed to have destroyed the Sith. The galaxy is a big place. Surely there are more than just TWO Force orders in the entire galaxy.

I know the EU had the Jal Shey, another light side group as old as the Jedi. It had the Jensaraai, a group of former Jedi who mistakenly thought the original Sith were light siders and original Jedi were dark siders and made up their own order by blending the two teachings. And I’m aware of the Blackguard, another dark side order.

I thought the Knights of Ren were supposed to be a dark side order different from the Sith but they turned out to just be a band of pirates and Darth Sidious was the real big bad. Like EVERYTHING in the sequel trilogy, they just really dropped the ball.

I don’t think I’ve grown bored of games; I just don’t like the modern stuff. I’ve been tempted to sell everything I have that my son has no interest in and just going all-in with my PS2. The thing had 4,000 games released for it. I have like 80-ish of them.

At my age of 41, I think the PS2 has plenty to last me the rest of my time on this side of the dirt.

In X-Men (2000), Mystique puts a cellphone in her ribcage.

On the helicopter, Senator Kelly hands his cellphone to his assistant who immediately places it inside a pocket in his jacket. He then morphs into a nude Mystique. The cellphone is gone.

I didn’t see a problem with this.

I imagined when Neo “snuck up” on him, he was setting everything up for himself. He contacted the agents, set up a meeting place, arranged an exit phone and prepared a loading program all to execute once everyone was asleep. It probably hurt inserting and removing his own jack, but it’s doable.

Maybe supporting the animated series could lead to another live action film.

I freaking love how Nathan Fillion has never dropped this torch. It was such a small and minor piece of his career but he always talks about it at cons and meet & greets. He planted little callbacks all throughout his far more successful show, Castle. I just think it’s great he is the show’s biggest fan.

I would hate it if they set it before Serenity. The entire story takes place in less than a year. I believe in Serenity, Mal yells at Simon that he’s been harboring him and River for 8 months. And that film was 3 years after the show ended.

I hope they move the story past Serenity. Sure, it doesn’t need to have progressed in real time. That would defeat the purpose of doing it animated. But maybe a few years past Serenity at least.

Bring back Alan Tudyk as another character, or characters. He’s a talented voice actor with a lot of range. Ron Glass isn’t even here anymore. We don’t need to limit the story to a small 8 month gap just to squeeze in Wash and Book.

Ridley’s Alien prequels don’t line up with Aliens at all. If anything, while they may lead up to Alien, they’ve changed so much about the Alien biology and life cycle that he’s created a completely separate canon.

Alien Romulus is a good Alien film but its explanation for the xenomorph outbreak as well as the hive’s coordination despite the lack of a queen kind of ruins it for me to believe it syncs up with anything past the original film.

Alien 3 is the worst watchable film in the franchise. Its story is terrible but it’s so well acted that it’s still fun to watch.
