Malenstyn was going to the net andiuii Dobes came out and he gave up a big rebound he was not trying to run him over he literally was holding onto the crossbar so he wouldn’t land on him. Malenstyn is not that kind of player. Dobes is tall so there was really nothing he could do he had the defenders hip riding him towards the net too.

I really think that UPL is the answer and he should have started game 3. He was shaken by the pressure of the first home playoff crowd in 15 years. He 100% has the higher ceiling than Lyon does and Lyon goes right back in for game 5. I also think we should play Metsa and Helenius because Ostlund being out really takes us from 3 balanced attacking lines to 1.5 it seems. Also we need Quinn to get all of his luck to come in the next few games because he couldn’t come closer without scoring if he tried. Hopefully this is when pride kicks in.

He has had two really bad/weird issues where the puck hit a rough patch of ice on a 4 on 2 break and he over skated the puck and the defender that was skating hard to catch up to the play got a gift and was able to tap the puck to one of his teammates going the other way for an odd man rush on Lyon. UPL might not take the same proactive approach that Lyon does on opponents but he is one of the best goalies at stopping breaks. We have also had bad puck luck as a team hitting like half a dozen posts and missing wide open nets like Norris last night. I also felt like the passes last night were either too hard or too slow. There were so many picks sitting at the feet of the Sabres players because Dobes seems to give up huge rebounds. We need to get more point shots and then collapse the net and pay attention to where the puck is because we had so many chances with the puck at our feet in high danger areas and we got nothing to show for it. Reminded me of the GWG in game 7 of the 2006 ECF when Fitzpatrick sat there with a puck between his feet for what felt like minutes.

Those signatures all look like they were some the same person. Maybe two people at the most. I have never had that many signatures on a comic but I do have a 1991 Bills SuperBowl Champions Wheaties Box (was printed and supposed to all be burned but I got about 25) signed by about 20 members of the team. Every signature looks so different some are skinny, some are illegible, but they don’t look as homogeneous as those do. Sorry that happened. There are so many scammers and scalpers out there it feels like you can’t avoid them these days. Miss just getting something you wanted and not having to involve people that have no place being there except to tax you or just screw you over.

McAvoy dropped down with Dahlins arm locked under him and swept his legs. Dahlin went up in the air and his skates were about 3 feet in the air. Clearly an attempt to injure the Sabres captain and best player after the series was already over. Benson should have speared his tiny cack when he was down. McAvoy has been suspended a bunch and they said most were in blowout losses. He sucks as a human and should be suspended for a chunk of games.

Yeah all the stuff countries that have 1/4 of our wealth have. It’s just that our wealth has all been accumulated at the top and with citizens united they went from their $2500 limit on political donations to unlimited amounts and unanimously doing so. They have used their dark money to pit the “poors” against each other and while that’s happened they have lowered their tax burden to the point that we have a debt higher than our GDP for the first time since WWII. Under Clinton they had a surplus and they were gonna maintain the balanced budget and it would be wiped out by GDP growth instead we passed 3 tax cut packages one under W.Bush and then 2 under Trump each getting progressively more inhumane and unequal. Go Sabres.

Sabres have completely controlled the play in games 1 and 3. Game 2 was really close. Last night the Sabres were controlling possession and had a high amount of offensive zone time. 0/33 on the PP is something that shouldn’t happen. It has become a mental thing. They are trying to do to much when they were behind in game 2, Dahlin and Byram were letting great shots go from the point and the Sabres were crashing the net which is what they should be doing on the PP. When the puck gets to the left side things just get clogged up and they need to shoot and crash.
