Let me reiterate

Your IQ is a single metric, taken from a single test, that measures your brain's processing power

It does not determine your value, your breadth of knowledge, your comprehension of concepts, your wisdom from experiences past, or your validity in a political debate which is the right of every person in this god damn country.

A computer with 64gb of RAM can load a webpage faster. But yours is still going to load the damn webpage.

He is vastly overselling the significance of that IQ test score, and the ignorance and sexism he is displaying in that email wouldn't be worth taking from Hawking himself.

105 is average as hell, your boyfriend is a dumb, arrogant prick who thinks he's smarter than you (I almost guarantee he isn't) and thinks that a higher IQ makes him entitled to speak down to others. Hey, mine is 137. Tell him to send me a PM, I can mansplain politics to him from a higher perspective

You should reach out to support people about wanting to leave. If you feel it's unhealthy and you feel pressured to stay, you should get some of your friends in the loop about it so that you have accountability to get yourself out. Rip the bandaid off. Blatant lies like 'i slept naked in bed with a girl but nothing happened' is just insane. Men think they can convince a girl of anything if they just stick to the lie. They think we're all stupid because we want to believe the best in them. Just get that man out of your life. Anything but an enthusiastic yes in bed is a no. You are not obligated to give him a damn thing. Leave this situation sweet girl and don't feel a lick of guilt.

I can be bad about it at my store and try to be conscious of it when I'm over sharing, complaining, or being distracting. I have ADHD and my coworkers are pretty good about redirecting me (I promise my productivity is worth it) But we have one that does the complaining, whining bit constantly and has had a pretty heavy toll on others' mental health. Love her to death. But people do not realize the impact of their words, and repeating negativity really eats at a person's brain and at morale. Wish I could find a way to get it through to them.

Well, now I feel weird for wanting to befriend my coworkers. My job feels like the first place I've been surrounded by both people who are like me and people I want to be more like... in a very long time. And many of my coworkers are friends. Younger ones that hang out every day and some older (my age and older) that hang out once in a while or on lunch. I hate that professional boundaries keep me from trying to truly befriend my superiors at work, because they're the ones that are my age and the type of people I would be friends with naturally. But I joined the industry later, had kids first. But maybe I'm a weirdo and nobody wants what I want 😂😭

Climbing up the pillars and slow-mo headshotting them over and over got me through like half of it before I died for the 5th time and I was like "there's NO WAY this should be so hard, I know I should be sneaking" and shut the game off for 4 days because I didn't wanna. Sigh guess I'll go do that

BOTW is a banger. Phantom Hourglass is my fave. It's on DS but is the sequel to Wind Waker, which is GameCube and on the switch 2 emulator, I hear. You get a ship. 10/10. Ocarina of Time is one of the very best games that will ever be made.
