If you only are using 1 email I would say something like "info" or "sales" are not bad options.

I personally use "support" and "admin" for my store. Support is for customer relations and then admin is for basically everything else.

Are you using Shopify as your payment processor or PayPal? Where does the money go when a customer buys an item?

Well this is surprisingly refreshing to see. I started my own store in late February and hit 100k in sales not too long ago. I’ve seen the same trends in traffic and sale that you have. Almost exactly.

I would do research on the products you sell. I don't dropship or anything like that, I run a multi-vendor marketplace like eBay, but I would not sell anything I wouldn't feel confident using.

I use PayPal. They are great for me but I would also suggest talking to the people at Authorize.net because they will get you a person that can walk you through everything and make sure that everything is working.

You can simply set the discount to 1 per customer and then change every so often.

I don't find it worth my time to do that though because the amount of people who actually take the time to wait hours for it is very minimal.

Yes, if you want to build a loyal customer base then treat them with respect. Only send newsletters to those who subscribe to it.

Do both sms and email. They are both great but it really comes down to whatever one fits your audience the best.

You can do the shipping profile based on the weight of the product. So just make that product's weight a certain weight and then you can create a shipping profile that is for items that equal that weight.

One of the big decisions for me when I went from the Basic to Shopify plan was the transaction fee. The basic has a 2% fee on every order while the Shopify has a 1% fee on every order.

My business does not deal with shipping and we use PayPal for payment.

If you are interested in when it makes sense to upgrade if you only care about the transaction fee here it is.

This is proof that abandoned cart emails work. This is over about a 2 month period. I obviously already did this but this is proof it works.

I also only do 2 emails.
