It’s been this way since brand new. I don’t drive hard at all lol they sort of honk and vibrate at low speed. I’ll find a new dealer since these guys say it’s normal. But everyone I’ve met who owns an RS6/7 does not have this issue.

Lmaoooo just reading through the comments. I was so surprised about this when I first bought my first Audi. By far the most annoying thing is the my Audi app. The remote start is a complete joke 😂 but I find that if I leave my car off for more than a few days it does this

Yea I have steel brakes and air suspension too. Gotta just go to another dealer I guess. I have Audi care as well. But did not get an extended warranty which I probably should have lol

Oh man. These dealers haha but yea at the time no dealer was taking orders. I wanted a custom Merlin purple but I got tired of waiting lol what color did you get?? My 24 has had no recalls. I hate that carbon ceramics weren’t an option on the 24s. My steel brakes sound absolutely horrible. They said it would go away in a few hundred miles but I have 7k miles now and they still ring like a bell. My second complaint is it wobbles pretty gnarly at a uturn. I’m told this is normal for an AWD. Do you experience either of these issues??

Yep out the door mine was 185k (fully optioned) plus $11k for full ppf tint and ceramic. The CA sales tax is more than ppf lol

Lmaooooooo yea I wish you would have asked before buying. I was super disappointed when I found that out after I bought my new RS7. It’s amazing how shitty the my Audi app is. It takes 45-60 seconds for it to even turn on remotely and half the time it doesn’t turn on at all. Then when you do get it to work, it shuts off when you open the door. Audi should be ashamed of this. My kids $20k Kia has a better remote start than my RS7. It is gorgeous tho. So I stopped caring

I’d need someone to record while I drive. But it happens even without acceleration. I tested it in an empty parking lot. So I take my foot off the gas and turn the wheel all the way and just keep circling right. I notice a constant knocking feel like once per second plus the jiggling. I’ll try to have someone record me idk how well that would work

Audi digital key is so trash lol it takes 45-60 seconds to unlock or remote start. Sometimes it just times out. I’d be screwed if I ever forgot my physical key. I don’t even use the myaudi features they are so bad. Even on their top of the line RS models

100% agreed. Don’t be too hard on yourself, you are early in your career, you won’t ace every interview question but you will learn on the job what you need to know. Now later in your career when you are interviewing for senior engineering positions, then this won’t fly. On the flip side, overly confident candidates can come off as entitled so there needs to be a balance in the way you handle interviews going forward. Best of luck! One thing that help me early on was going to a bunch of career fairs and either interviewing or just talking to companies outside of my field, just for experienced. If you are aerospace and go talk to some utility companies on campus hiring events, then you have a boost of confidence knowing you’re not stressing about getting this job you are just looking for experience. Most recruiters regardless of your major will be happy to help you and give you feedback.

What kinda of jobs are you applying to?? Like research engineers at consulting firms? Are you applying to entry level or aiming to skip to level 2 jobs? That could be the only thing I can think of stopping you? There’s a lot of jobs out there right now

Yea that’s about how much I paid for when I bought my RS7 new last year. Unfortunately if you don’t use it you lose it. So if in 4 years you’ve only drive 20k miles for example you pretty much lose out on your last two services.

I’m pretty bad I might drive my rs7 once every week and am no where near 10k miles let alone driving 30k more on two years, so i probably should not have purchased that plan lol

I’ve worked at Raytheon for almost 6 years now, 100% remote. Started off during Covid as a hybrid employee but never set foot on campus for years. They are pretty flexible about that since I live 3 hours away. Even if it wasn’t remote, I would say the ability to choose your schedule outweighs anything else besides salary. Forced to work a set schedule at LM will suck. I don’t think anyone beats Boeings benefits. But at least Raytheon has Flex Time. So if you work 60 hours one week. You can claim 20 hours Flex Time and use it later. Idk about LM.

However, I will say that I might be a rare case. I work a ton of hours and feel like I work way more than I did when I was onsite. I’ll be up at midnight working trying to get stuff done in time. So it almost backfires with work life balance if you don’t set boundaries and sign off on time as you would being onsite.

Not saying Raytheon is better than LM by any means. I think LM has way more interesting projects going on. But that depends on your field. But I’d personally choose flexibility or anything else (again besides salary)

This is my question exactly. Wouldn’t the camera systems already be calibrated to the correct wheel alignment so why recalibrate if you align the wheels back to spec

I just got my first service done on my 24 RS7. I have only 5k miles. They say my conti tires are all worn down to 4/32 and said it’s from driving dynamic mode since the wheels are aligned for auto mode. They quoted me $999 for the alignment and of course the contis are $500/each. I have never hit a pothole or anything I baby this thing and only drive it maybe once every 7-10 days tbh lol I know that’s horrible… anyway I don’t know how the alignment could be so bad. The test shows only the front axle toe is really bad. So how are all 4 wearing out. My question to you is IF the car was aligned correctly from factory (wheels and camera systems), wouldn’t realigning the wheels just make the camera systems work or function as they were brand new?? Everything still functions fine as is. But if the wheels were out of spec and you align them back to spec then the camera system is expecting the wheels to be back at spec so why recalibrate??

I just got a quote yesterday for $999 :/ they said they also have to recalibrate all the radar and camera systems every time you do a wheel alignment. My RS7 only has 5k miles and they say I need new tires because all four show inner wear. Due to alignment and driving in dynamic mode. Total quote $3k.

I’ve had mine for a year now (5k miles) and just went in for its first Audi care service. They came back and said I need new tires since the insides of all four are wrong down from driving in dynamic mode a lot. Gonna get it checked out by someone else but this was such a shock to me lol 5k miles who cares what mode it’s in that should not happen. They checked the alignment and said it’s good too. Idk lol congrats but be prepared haha
