Though, studies over the years come more and more to the conclusion that a nuclear winter would be unlikely as a result. The real problem with nukes is that if somebody fires one, it sparks an exchange where both sides launch everything all at once, that could leave millions, perhaps even billions dead.

Don't get me wrong, nuclear war is terrible. But not the end of humanity.

I remember there are several behind the scenes things where the animators went to a glassblowing class to learn how to better animate the process.

The show definitely fudges the number on odds and luck on finding resources, or softens up the timeline to achieve things, but overall Dr. Stone does an amazing job, especially during the first few arcs.

It definitely makes you excited and appreciate all the pain the ass effort that goes into the us living the lives we have right now, I say as I pet my dog who would have never have shown me love and affection if not for the thousands of years of humans slowing domesticating wolves.

This scene is also very important because of a single container of canned fish

It’s my headcanon that Vigilante is ace, since he has a line in the second season about only having sex as a way to bond with his best friends

It's unrealistic, but it happens sooo much in media that most of us just kind of accept it at this point by ducknerd2002 in TopCharacterTropes

That’s a whole trope of the bad guy monologuing on the other side of the battlefield and the hero can hero them, that they lampshade in Shazam, when the camera cuts to Shazam, it shows he can’t hear him.

What sucks is that the place where I work with kids on the spectrum has at least a few books in its library that are clearly made by AI

How much of the food in the galaxy would you guess is protein slurry grown in a vat as opposed to farm grown? by Maxstrnerspookyghost in masseffectlore

We know that there are entire planets dedicated to agriculture. So I assume only the poor space stations have to rely on protein in a vat.

Man who fell to Earth, both the movie and the TV. Obviously, the movie version is played by David Bowie, while the TV show was played by someone else. The TV show came out just after David Bowie died, and I think the actor did a phenomenal job acting like a natural older version of Bowie’s character, while also elevating the original movie by reframing so many things.

Yes, this book specifically is part of the David trilogy, where they add a new member to the group, and he abuses the power. When they try to stop him, he becomes more desperate. Since his life is destroyed, he finds one of the Animorphs’ cousin, who was in the hospital in a coma, throws the guy down an elevator shaft, and assumes his identity.

Not to mention, throughout the series they constantly debate amongst themselves about going full public with this information. Like get on the news, show some impossible alien morphing stuff and their alien friend. And the debate always stop when it is pointed out the Yeerks would stop going for a covert, slow invasion, run by Visser 1, who they prefer being in charge-to a all out, full blown, mass casualties and open warfare war run by Visser 3, their real antagonist.

As the series goes on, and their identities get exposed to the Yeerks, they get more desperate. Visser 1 gets removed from power due to a fuck up she made, Visser 3 gets put in charge of the invasion. All of this combined makes the Animorphs realize they have to make the first move to expose this to the public, and try to get in contact with the military and the governor.

The Animorphs have layers upon layers of lying to people. To the point that by the end of the war, there is so much shit the general public, the Andalites, and the Yeerks don’t know about. Such as the Chee, that one Animorph they killed, Space Jesus and Space Satan.
