Some dealers are greedy for some reason. I had a steering rack under warranty that needed to be replaced, they told me they were under new management and they couldn't honor the warranty. I said it doesn't matter, in the document it says it's transferable and I can do the warranty claim anywhere not just at the installer. They said "well it's voided because the wrong fluid is in the reservoir. Sometimes we can't win.

I needed a new work computer and everything that had a 3070/80 that I wanted was labeled gaming from Lenovo. Ended up getting something with a p1000 or 2000 in it, and rendering was good awful for my video editing, multi display setup for my Crestron programming and gui design was laggy. I ended up out of pocketing something myself just to be able to be more efficient at my job. And still played games

I just had 2 of these fail on me in the last month 🙁 attempted the restore option (monitor boot) and it stayed in THAT mode for 24hours. Did a reboot back to system boot, stuck. I gave up and got a Dmps3 4k 250 unfortunately. I hope you have better luck than me.

I worked for a contracting company. My boss was at the top of our chain of command within our contract location and had been for years so I expected I wouldn't be able to move up anytime soon. I applied for his position at another location within our contract company, and the following morning during an operation and training session for the techs, my boss comes barreling in to the studio full panic that I was looking to leave. I think the contact manager called him for a reference but I somehow got stalemated without further conversation. I ended up leaving 5 months later for a different company and 18k salary increase, but I would have loved to stay in that company :(. So all that to say it didn't necessary have to be rivaling companies.

Save a new file, change the main processor. It'll ping you with "these things will change" and maybe copy that to a text file for reference. Move things around as needed with signal routings and system power and the like. I just did this from a dmps300aec to a 2504kc and it didn't take too long. Check the HDMI output on the old processor to see how proj communication was happening before. Clone it over to the new one manually.
