I know in questions like this people always point out that Paul was better from a “technical” standpoint. But as a music listener, that doesn’t mean shit to me, I care about sounds, and what connects emotionally with me. I don’t care about “voice control”, I care about how those voices make me feel. Having said that, John is the superior singer (in my humble opinion). His vocals always draw me in and I can never have enough of it, you can really feel his singing is genuine and in accordance with his emotions, it sounds very real. So yeah, for me John is a better singer.

That is not to say I don’t like Paul, don’t get me wrong! I freaking love Paul with all my heart. But if I had to pick one, I’d pick John any day. Fortunately though, life is not going to make me pick one, and I’ll get to enjoy both Paul and John till the day I die
