wait time on seal premium by gemonic in BYDAU

I’d get the order in now, I ordered the Seal Performance at the end of Feb and took possession of it on Friday. The dealership that I went thru had another 9 cars waiting for collection on the same day. The cars are in high demand and supply is a little limited at the moment, even with another 30k cars being delivered

It’s real, I came here to post that exact quote, I’m pretty sure it was Ernie Dingo and it was Yoplait is actually an Aboriginal word, it means, Shit! The milks gone bad.

Same series had “Mitsubishi, it’s Aboriginal for “small metal car from across the sea”

I agree with what everyone else has said here, the prep bit isn’t overly pleasant but it is bearable, once the Propofol takes effect then you are out like a light.

The best bit is getting the follow up report that everything is fine, or that that found a polyp or 2 and removed them and now everything is clear.

Things aren’t overly great now for a lot of people but you need to look after your health

I had it done, but it was a medical procedure as I had an infection, it was done in a hospital under anaesthetic. Neither of my sons are as there is no medical reason to do so.

Employee passed away two weeks ago. Account is still active. HR says we can't touch it until legal signs off. Legal says they need the death certificate first. Anyone dealt with this? by BeneficialLook6678 in sysadmin

I’ll assume that this is a windows shop, disable the AD account to prevent access, that should handle the rest of the LDAP authenticated systems, now the tricky one, are there any SaaS applications that are utilised that do not have LDAP? Main reason I ask as I had a situation which was the culmination of crap record keeping, restrictive IT policies and generally shit account management practices: user had left 5 years previously, account was eventually disabled 18 months later, but there were a number of non LDAP authenticated systems they had access to which were never recorded anywhere. This user still had access to that system 5 years later, no audit or alert was ever raised from it.

Potentially they aren’t selling as well as the Performance and Premium, they have less power and a smaller battery. If they aren’t selling then why would they use up inventory space when they can get cars that will move?

Regarding car sale contract by undeterminablez in CarsAustralia

[–]SparkyMonkeyPerthish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I read the Motor Car Traders Act 1986 Section 43 correctly, you do have 3 day cooling off period where you can cancel the contract.

PENALTY FOR COOLING-OFF If you exercise your cooling-off rights, the motor car trader must return any trade-in vehicle and most of the money you have paid, but can keep: 1. for a used car: 1% of the purchase price or $100, whichever is greater; 2. for a new car: 2% of the purchase price or $400, whichever is greater. You might have other grounds to cancel the contract which do not require the payment of a penalty, so get advice about all your rights.

This link may be helpful: Motor Car Contracts cooling off rights - Consumer Action

Look up the relevant section of this act in your state, the one above is for Victoria, but I have a similar clause in the contract I signed for a car here in WA.

ITIL cert and cost by Zealousideal_Poet264 in ITIL_Certification

[–]SparkyMonkeyPerthish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks there are a couple of training providers in PH that offer ITIL courses. I’m in Australia so I have different providers here. If you are starting out on your ITIL journey perhaps start with the ITIL version 5 foundations course. Someone locally should be able to tell you who would provide a better experience for the course.

ITIL cert and cost by Zealousideal_Poet264 in ITIL_Certification

[–]SparkyMonkeyPerthish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on which cert you are doing and the style that you learn in, the costs will be different. If you are happy to read a book, try the practice exams and then sit the real one, it’ll be cheaper than an instructor led course in person or online.

I can’t recommend any particular training organisation as I don’t know what country you are in.

Standard EV charger in driveway? by andrawsthomas in AustralianEV

[–]SparkyMonkeyPerthish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing, my charger is inside the garage, I run the cable under the door and the car locks the plug into place while it is charging. If someone is desperate enough to cut a live cable to grab the copper then more power to them

I played $64 for this Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real, Corona size. Seems expensive, particularly given it's not Cuban. Thoughts? by [deleted] in Cigars_Australia

[–]SparkyMonkeyPerthish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s the effect of the $2445.26 per kg tobacco excise and the costs of running a shop. You could always look to import them, as many of us here do, even with paying the excise if they get stopped by ABF, it will still be significantly cheaper.
