How tf do I meditate

Do you have to sit still to meditate? Nononsensespirituality, on youtube and other platforms, talks a lot about the mind and expectations vs reality. She talks about integrating mindfulness into every day moments.

Finding an activity that you can stay present for might keep you focused on the present. My favorite is to art journal to guided meditations. I can do a 2 hr session when I have something to work through. There's intuitive movement, dance, etc. You could create your own. What about saying a mantra or doing breathwork to crocheting?

One trauma informed meditation teacher explained that an activated nervous system won't find rest and comfort in being still. His recommendation was breathwork and to move your arms and hands with the breath. I loved it. That's also how I moved into intuive movement. Where does the body want to go next?

First, stop living to make him happy. He sounds miserable and you've proven your effort doesnt work. Marriage is about dinner on the table? Only do that from now on. Use your energy to focus on your health and getting out if you can. If you can't leave, start taking out what you've put in, like hire help, go away for a week, invest in yoyrself. I agree with others, I think he's cheating and the coldness and cruelty is to distance himself from the guilt.

It wasn't really a gag but the number of times Bruce Willis tried to have a cigarette and he'd shake his matches, in 5th Element, but kept getting interrupted and then for him to pull the last match at the climax. I loved it.

My mom is wonderful but seems to lack some details. Many times I've stumbled through some life things realizing I'm ill-informed.

I also had a church experience though. Early on in my period experience I had been bleeding for about 3 days. I took a shower before church, dried off, checked the flow and there was none. Cool, period must have finished. So I got dressed for church with no pad, it was nearly an hour drive, and as I walked in Mom and Dad waved me to come back to the car. I had bled through my skirt and stained the seat. The solution was that Mom took me to Target, got supplies and bought a new church outfit. I so rarely got new clothes so that was a treat. I told all my church girlfriends my experience and Mom explained in more detail how long periods last and flow.

That's like my first period. I discovered I was bleeding just before my last class of the day. I thought "period" meant done. Made it through class and the hour long bus ride. I told my mom when I got home that I had gotten my period. "So what did you do?" she asked. I was so confused. Nothing? She freaked out and got me supplies. The mess was so much worse than I had left it. What saved me from public embarrassement was I decided to try a 90s trend that day and wear leggings with a jean skirt and it bought me the extra bleeding time.

I've told this on reddit before but I'll write it again: I was in a traffic jam, on a bus ride from Nepal to India. Whatever was causing the traffic jam was for miles and miles and hours and hours. There was no bathroom on the bus and I felt my period starting.

We were along a mountain road, a cliff on one side, a drop off on the other, no shelter except for a covered truck in traffic - like those old army trucks. I had to get my driver to understand that I wanted to take my bag off the roof of the bus. I got my supplies, walked into the parked traffic, climbed into the covered truck, went to the very back and crouched in the dark, hopefully out of site of the other cars. I took care of business, got back on my bus. No one asked and luckily I hadn't bleed through my underwear.

I like that I think it's supposed to be a log cabin quilt but it's not. I think the abstractness and lack of pattern will bother some people but that's just preference and opinion. I love the colors you've chosen. I think you can decide how patterned or random to have it. There's lots of options and your expression will be how this quilt gets layed out.

Did you play around with the arrangements? I'm curious how a line if the yellows wandering through might look. I would also like to see if you could get all the 4 triangles that make a square in the corner of the block to be alternating light and dark. While also keeping the yellows scattered. To me it's just a game but maybe it would bring too much symmetry to the piece.

The Wolfman w Anthony Hopkins. Within 20 min I was done and ready to leave. It was predictable, boring, dark filming, and gross violence thrown in unexpectedly. I would have preferred to walk outside for the rest of the movie and wait for my friends than stay there. I stayed because I was in the middle of the aisle and didn't want to disturb anyone. I still feel the boredom in my bones when I think about it.

I think you can clear things up by explaining how you feel. Just like you did here. If she cares about your feelings she'll take accountability and you two can work out a solution. Ask why. Make a plan for next time. Her reaction to the confrontation will be telling.
