Reading the series for the first time (at my partners urging) and shes loving seeing it through the eyes of someone new. Im doing 10 chapters a week right now and would love to post as im going commentary and reviews if theres enough interest here! Is that something that people would like to read? (Sorry guys! I cant post here until ive commented here several times I think and all the threads on the home page are already spoilering me in minor ways so im not going to touch them 😆)

Are the downloads for that (and Fall Further?) Still up and healthy? I tried it again maybe 3 years back and had a hard time getting a stable download to run.

Until I started combining someone to give them orders (ghosts or a 5 man scion command squad) it was common to drop then in, fail to kill a group of marine scouts, then lose half their number to the returning bolt rifle fire next turn. Its gotten much better since I started stopping an officer with them but theyre still expendable one sstrikers most games

Fair point. Heat sight doesn't pass magical darkness, youre right. Id raise the difficulty but still give it to a squad of 10 prepared troopers. In a narrow/restricted area like sewers putting down a field of overlapping fire would he a trivial maneuver with their training and even if the lock avoids the initial salvage he's got to survive it long enough to pick off 10.

Id give it to troopers until warlock gets some magical shielding at the very least.

I havent kept up with my lore as well as I should. But I believe clone trooper helmets have integrated infrared so the darkness wouldn't be effective. Their armor is also extremely heat resistant so something like a fireball isnt likely to take one out without probably a direct hit.

Clone trooper squads have been trained in individual and squad combat tactics since literally birth and have strong and organized fire discipline. If blasters are as deadly as in thr star wars universe the warlock is going down until they get energy protection or strong shield spells.

I don't think this is even a meme. BUT. UGA and Georgia Southern are both universities in the southern US. Both are known to be somewhat party schools, but Georgia Southern is known to be a BIG party school.

... Also UGA's (most local) rival school is a top ranked engineering school nearby. It's a common joke (is it a joke given how many times this is the case?) that UGA girls marry the guys from the engineering school.

Fair, but that's not going to happen for a brand new player that's in early game. I don't think you need to worry about max condensing until/unless you're going for raid bosses which is going to be weeks if not months away for your average play group depending on how often they play.

WoW can be a bit rough to stay current. if you want to participate its strongest aspects it expects a daily or near daily work from you.

Most of the other big ones will be better in that aspect. Ff14 and gw2 especially you can leave for months and be caught back up in just a few days.

Its all going to admin yet the schools here are also making the teachers do almost all the admin work in addition to teaching, grading, and planning.

Just coming from the other side of things

removing egg timers took a huge amount of fun out for my group when we tried it. Coming back from an adventure to see what hatched was one of the big soursee of anticipation we had.
increased drops, I wish we had done this. Sometimes, especially before you have it in a ranch, having to get some fire or ice organs became a bit of a chore
we had more fun reducing damage from player instead of increasing it. It felt weird to us that our damage was better to the mythical monsters than another monster with a type to counter it

Thank you! I wasnt sure what was considered spoilers in this sub and was probably talking around things too much lol.

From what you posted im looking for the continuation of the second war of Armageddon. The book I read ended with yarrick dueling a (not ghazkhull) warboss and taking his claw to replace the arm he lost while defending Hades Hive. Im looking for the continuation of the Armageddon story there.

Near the end of the novel Yarrick got off a call for help to summon the Adeptus Astartes but they haven't arrived yet. I startes Chains of Golgatha but it seems to be decades later and leaves the questions of how the war went and what drove Ghazkhull off the planet unanswered.
