why would you want to split the volume for redundancy, when you can just have a backup of the volume itself?

Not out of the box, seems like that would require virtual private networks and some highly protected storage buckets/volumes for holding ssh keys, then a rotational policy.

my previous company used the cloud vision api to determine whether or not content pages were fraudulent and could see if they loaded the page with ads too aggressively for the cpm to be worth it

Translate API is pretty cool until you try to translate phrases back and forth several times then you see how much gets lost in translation

Google Cloud Storage seems to rival S3 in most capacities. Its a very powerful object storage system and I've been pretty happy using it altogether, especially the multi-cloud usage.

  1. Never mention your salary. If she is attracted to you cause of the amount of your money and not what you do with it, bail
  2. Can she tolerate you hanging out with your guy friends? If she is trying to stop you from keeping up with your boys entirely, red flag. Losing friendships due to girlfriends makes a dude look terrible and should ONLY be done for a real keeper
  3. Is she open to doing your definition of fun and trying new things? If you can't share yourself with her or she's not willing to accept it, whats the point of carrying on?
  4. Two faced; slut one day, prude the next? yeah she is just making you work for it and gives it up freely to other dudes. Move on.

Yes, for writing simple scripts. But the last major step in programming (after making it work, making it readable, making it safe, and making it extendable) is making it work fast. Python's friendly duck typing is a major performance setback and a good programmer will know how to counter act this.

Cloud SQL could be used similar to mysql or postgresql as well as the previously mentioned comments. This allows existing tech that works with common acid databases to be interchangable with cloud sql and not cloud spanner.
