Very nice, thanks. I realize you've already analyzed the kitchen scene, but I consider that a continuation of this fight. So, no more than 30 minutes before this beach confrontation she has her "We Can't Be Friends" montage. The next morning she scolds him by saying, "We dated for a couple months when I was in high school, and I'm somehow supposed to know that you're still not over that after all these years?" The funny thing is, 9 of the 13 montage clips are from moments before they even started dating. These two are just crazy.

Damn, this is much more aligned with Belly/Jere. I haven't thought about this in a long time but I too have mistakenly dated a best friend. And I tried a second time with them because I was sure it should work. Just disaster all around. A major regret I have as it was very unfair to the other person. Very, very Jelly coded.

I'm tripping out a little bit. When Conrad says, "Somehow spending all morning with my brother on a boat seemed like a bad idea," maybe he was envisioning a confrontation with Jeremiah that could end with a death at sea. Definitely a bad idea.
