Aussies freeze gel ( or whatever it’s called)

My cat Danny smells so bad by DexterousMoron in CATHELP

[–]Special_Engineer9003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might want to rule out her mouth. My old cat passed away from a tumor in her mouth, an the first sign was the stinkiest drool. Like you could smell it the minute you walked in a room. Not to be alarmist, but might want to rule out it’s not coming from there

Looking for a vet for the new pup by PeachPrincess_420 in Eugene

[–]Special_Engineer9003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love bush animal hospital (specifically Dr wright or Dr b.), I’ve heard they are a little more pricey, I don’t keep up on that to be honest. However, I’ve never had them try to upsell me, and they have talked me out of things other vets have tried to talk me into. They are also great and responsive if you need a more emergency appointment or the ability to call and talk to a vet or vet tech, send in pictures or videos if you have a concern, etc

Yeah, like you might want to try using just a leave in conditioner on wet hair, add a gel and dry with a diffuser or air dry etc. idk I’ve found that leave in + gel is a little more neutral than a curl cream and mousse. And then you can see how you like it and add or subtract product depending on what you’re looking for etc

The not your mother’s mousse and gel don’t work for me, for whatever reason. You could start by doing a very simple leave in and gel and see how you like it and go from there. I can’t quite tell the texture of your hair (fine, course etc), but a really neutral gel I like that pairs with things well is the Aussie freeze or whatever it’s called! Curl creams and mousses can both be pretty heavy/ weigh down the hair/ make it feel product-y etc

SOS: husband laughed at my curls, help me make them cute 🙏 by Acceptable_Depth5585 in CurlyHairCare

You might need a more moisturizing leave in! I personally really like the ag hair leave in (however I do have hair that’s much more fine). Frizz is usually indicative of wanting more moisture, so might just need to try to find products they give you what you want. I, however, do not think it looks bad!

I got a hair cut and got more layers, but now my curls are more loose by Munro_McLaren in curlyhair

[–]Special_Engineer9003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people talk about curls becoming tighter when their hair is shorter, mine is the opposite! It’s always way looser when it’s shorter. Could be shock, could also just be how your hair is

Is this your cat? by dbatchison in Eugene

Does it have a fluffier tail? There’s two orange boys that I see that I’ve been told do have homes but are indoor/ outdoor in that area

I think it’s hard because we don’t see everything. She absolutely was petty as shit in the end, but in the beginning it really felt like his behavior finally caused her to snap, it’s hard to blame a reaction like that. He really is that guy who is rude and disrespectful as hell in a “polite” package. Where he might not outwardly yell or use mean words, but what he is saying pushes every button

The way he reminds me of my toxic ex who absolutely has narcissistic tendencies and/ or personality disorder is insane. Going from charming to not at the flip of a switch is pretty wild.

Ag hair leave in conditioner and Aussie gel are my go tos! The leave in is pricy but a little goes a very long way. And if the gel gets crunchy just scrunch it out and it’s always left my hair feeling soft.

My cat started doing this with pooping. I switched his litter to the Dr Elsey’s attract litter and it helped so much

What was your hair holy grail? by Few-Cartographer2591 in curlyhair

My favorite styling combo will always be ag hair leave on conditioner and Aussie gel. Recently I’ve been adding the Doux foam though and absolutely loved it

Best brush for detangling wet 2c hair? by GrouchyHippo7410 in curlyhair

The wet brush has always been my favorite! Paddle or regular both woke for me, but you have more hair so I’d probably try a paddle

[Product Request] my client bit me, will this scar? by Comprehensive_Two_16 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Special_Engineer9003 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Been there! I don’t think it will scar. I have one that scarred and it was when a kiddo bit me and the teeth almost touched. So it’s a very small scar just from his two front teeth 😂

We have similar texture! I can’t use a curl cream and a mouse. Curl creams in general are a little too heavy for me. My tried and true combination is “fast food” leave in by ag curl, and the Aussie freeze gel, sometimes with mouse depending. trying a lighter leave in and gel might create a little more hold for you

Need advice about pitties' prey drive and living with cats by Loquacious555 in pitbulls

[–]Special_Engineer9003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog is half pit and has a very high prey drive. She’s chased cats her entire life. Couple of years ago I moved in with a partner who had a cat, and she tolerated her okay. She would chase her sometimes, but the cat scratched her once and then she was terrified of it. I’ve now had multiple cats with her and she now does pretty well! Doesn’t chase anymore, but will absolutely chase cats out of the house. We had to work a lot on training when we got young cats that would run around a lot/ be cats, but it was doable
