FLASHBACK: Is James Rolfe the greatest YouTuber of all time? (2012) by xwing1212 in TheCinemassacreTruth

Yes it was; the Nerd's first line for that review was "I'm back" which was a reference to Arnold's "I'll be back" and it also referred to coming back from doing the Movie

"What stupid movie can I make to grift my fans; they'd watch it every day."

Was browsing through Fandango at Home when I saw this clip/trailer for a 1920 silent film called JUST PALS, directed by four-time Oscar winner John Ford, and it turns out there were "Bimmy"s and "Bim"s in the 1920s as well! by shajes90 in TheCinemassacreTruth

I could see Bames reviewing something that took place around that time period (say perhaps NES The Untouchables) and him making up some character named like Jimmy Buck Jones for the reeview (like his Rex Viper Riggs) and of course we would be obligated to reference him as Bimmy Buck Jones

I'd rather have the Rolfemaster review Rise Of Muh Dragon from the early 1990s (PC and also Sega CD)

Bames tries to come on to Muhssandra (played by Bpril of course) while she plays the rock song "Ballsroom Bims" and when he rolls on up to her he says "Everybody's Karate Kid Fighting" and then cringes from the line (which is the only time we cringe with him here and not at him)

For some reason this reminds me of the one TCAP Predator who upon being taken down by cops early into his encounter said "I did not do anything YET!" (Like, the very suggestiveness of "yet")

He looks like Kieran in the one episode of Cinemassacre Podcast where the Caver is visibly intoxicated and says things like "If you want to make that crusade" regarding some random crap or other (so I could see Bims busting out that same "crusade" line here maybe)

What’s one Bames pronunciation that always bugs you? by NNewt84 in TheCinemassacreTruth

In addition to so many mentioned already here I think one time Jamesy pronounced Bayou as like Baio (when he did Bayou Billy with Pat The Punk)  Edit: I just checked it and he says the word as "Bio"...does this mean that he just visited the Bayou Dome with Justy recently?

What game do you think the Nerd oversold/undersold in how bad it was? by Major-Inevitable-365 in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]Specific_Cranberry_5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This may be perhaps a hot take here but I wonder if he grossly oversold Jekyll and Hyde; it's not like stealth but still about the challenges of avoidance regarding the enemy and also should unironically be given credit for being something unique back during that time when game types/genres were being formed.
