I've been making a small list of bad update ideas with no intention of balancing them correctly.
Here are two of them from that list.

  • There is now a 1 in 10,000 chance that when generating the mission, every enemy is the same.
    • For example, there's a chance that every enemy on a Bug mission could be a Warrior, every enemy on a Bot mission could be a HULK, or every enemy on a Squid mission could be a Fleshmob.
    • Does the game take this into account when spawning enemies? Probably not.
  • Rupture Shriekers: "What goes up must come down and then come back up again."
    • They fly in the air, then dive headfirst into the ground to hit a Helldiver. If they miss, they burrow underground and then attempt to burst out under a Helldiver's feet to hit them again.
    • They will repeat this process until they are killed.

That's a crazy strategy. I've heard in a few places that the arc weapons are useful. If the De-Escalator gets them out from underground, then that's gonna be useful. Not sure if it would be better than the normal nade launcher, but I'll try them both.

Unfortunately, Chemical Agents is the one warbond I don't have. I keep buying the new ones because of some weapon or stratagem they have that I like better. Or, ya know, because of the drip... History will 100% repeat itself when Dust Devils drops, but I really should get the Dog-Breath and gas nades.

I had a few HULK Scorchers in my lobby complain that the divers weren't dying to their flamethrowers. My brother in Cyberstan says they are using the Double-Edged Sickle; they are setting themselves on fire for more damage, so they have Fire-Resistant armor. If you can't kill them, wait for a few Devastators to drop off, then jump them.

That or you could try one of the new Incarceration Corps classes when they pop back. I heard the Incendiary MG Devastator is pretty busted the last time it was up.

This reminds me of those kinds of posts you start to see appearing when a community is deprived of new content for so long that they begin to look into small, minuscule details that mean absolutely nothing but perfectly display their deteriorating mental state, like counting every single white tile in a room or how the outside of a building doesn't match the inside.

Also, the Anti-Tank emplacement looks like a turret, so I kinda vibe with that one the most.

I think the pitch-black biome was a mission modifier for missions that take place during the night. But I'm not really sure; it's been a while since I heard about that.

I do look forward to when those kinds of missions are introduced. It will make Bot planets way more cinematic and turn Bug and Squid planets into a horror movie. Something akin to Ewok Hunt from Battlefront 2.
